Count down...
I'm into countdown time. Two months today A Cold White Fear comes out. Despite it being my seventh Meg Harris mystery, I am finding the lead-up to its release just as exciting. I can't wait to feel the actual book in my hands. Always a thrill. And thrill this new book will be for A Cold White Fear is a departure from the other Meg Harris mysteries. It is a thriller. I've put Meg in a life threatening situation with nothing but her wits and her courage to get her out of it. I've also brought back one of my favourite characters in the series, Adjidamo, or Jid, the young boy she saved in Red Ice for a Shroud. He's older, more confident with life, but still the mischievous orphan, who crept into Meg's heart.

Welcome to Meg's World
Hello everyone,
Hope you are having a fabulous day, wherever you are. I've decided to give this Goodreads blog a go. I will forewarn you that I am not the most committed blogger. Postings tend to be hit and miss for me, but I will endeavour to update it at least once a week with the latest happenings in Meg's world.
The most exciting happening at the moment is the upcoming release for A Cold White Fear, the 7th book in the Meg Harris series. Ready for pre-order now, it is slated for a November release in Canada and a December one in the USA.
I had great fun writing this book. A Cold White Fear is a thriller, a departure from the murder solving storylines of the earlier books. I wanted to give Meg a real challenge, so put her in a very threatening situation to see how she would manage. I won't deny that it doesn't have its scary moments, some which even kept me awake while I was writing them.
In the coming weeks I will have more to say about A Cold White Fear and about Meg's World.
