Dishing Covers with Mary Waibel!

Today I'm so excited to swap blogs with my wonderful CP and sometimes BETA reader, but always good friend, Mary Waibel. She's the author of the wonderful "Princess of Valendria Series," which I love!

Thanks for hosting me today, Michelle! I'm so excited to be here talking about my covers as well as hosting you at my site to talk about your redesigned cover for MILAYNA.

When writing a series it's important that the covers all fit together. At least, I feel that way. For my series, each book has...

My thoughts after reading: "High Risk Love" by Shannon Mayer

Photographs.

Images. Snapshots in time.

This is how I experience my life. I’ve hidden behind my camera and viewed the world through the lens. I watch other people live their lives. I’ve given up on my dreams, and sheltered my heart from love; because both have given me nothing but pain. Even thinking about opening myself up, sends my fears into overdrive. It’s better to be safe, than to take a risk and have your life shattered into pieces alongside your heart. This is what I believed.

Dangerous....

My thoughts after reading: "The Other Tree" by DK Mok

It’s been four years since Chris Arlin graduated with a degree that most people think she made up, and she’s still no closer to scraping up funding for her research into rare plants. Swoon Thursday

The great girls at  YABound  created a HOT meme, Swoon Thursday. I don't usually participate in memes, but I think it's fun to read all the swoony stuff everyone finds.

This week I'm going to play along. If you're new to the game, here's how to join in the fun:

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell me what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound...
