I memorise every knot

Of these memorial pews…

Where a mountain clump breaks off

Trick Vessels is officially due out this week! Trying not to pass out. Took a stroll a few days ago and photographed these trees at Woodford Square, Port of Spain. The quotation is from, 'Prefaces for Other Occasions' a poem in Trick Vessels.

Two poems at tongues of the ocean

Am grateful to have two poems from Trick Vessels in the current issue of tongues of the ocean, the online literary journal run by Nicolette Bethel.

Spines, rigged like chains,
Choked other limbs:
Feathered men
Replaced.
