So long and thanks for all the fish!

Drew and I took our last walk on the beach today. Well, not our last walk, hopefully, but we’re headed north this weekend as we hear the snow is gone and it’s safe to enter Minnesota again. (But we’re not holding our breath. We know Minnesota…)

So, here they are—the last sad pictures of our daily walk on the beach.

Some weekend goodies for you!

This is Susie’s assistant (and you caught me—daughter) here! Susie got lost in the writing cave and has somehow pulled others in with her!

I’m just kidding, that is her writing mastermind group and they are fabulous! We owe a lot of Susie’s brilliance to the honing of her skills with this wonderful group of women.

I think there’s light at the end of the tunnel…

I’m still deep in writing (although starting to see light at the end of the tunnel!), but just a quick note that JONAS comes out on Tuesday! But you can still get the Amazon $4.99 preorder price until then or download it now on the store for $9.99!

Something I don’t usually do.

Hello from the beach!

This is my sweet daughter (who is also an author, BTW – find her books here and on Kindle Unlimited) a couple weeks ago on the beach. It’s spring break here, and the beaches are now packed…which is a great time to work on a novel!

A glimpse at the mess…

I’m at it again.

Spent this week plotting a new book. I’m currently working on IRIS, book 4 in the Minnesota Marshalls series, and oh, this is a fun one. The little hint I’ll give you is that I’m using this book for research…

Currently, the story looks like this:

Which then translates to this:

But I’m getting WAY ahead of myself because next up is book #2 in the series – JONAS.

Just curious…

So, first, thank you for all the sweet reviews about Fraser! He’s quietly been climbing the charts while you’ve been leaving kind reviews, and I’m grateful.

So, I’m just back from a fun writing retreat with 8 authors and my business partner for a publishing company I run (Sunrise Publishing) – and we got to chatting about book themes,

Update on Fraser and more fun stuff!

Look who made it out of her writing cave long enough to see the sun! That’s right, this girl! I’ve been hard at work finishing up the next book in the Minnesota Marshalls series and I think I’ve earned a quick walk on the beach with my hubby.

Speaking of the Minnesota Marshalls,

A Quick Message from the Writing Cave…

I’m still holed up in my writing cave, but I’m coming up for a quick breath to say “Wow! You guys are really excited about the Minnesota Marshalls Series!”

GOOD! Because I am too! That’s why I’ve been head down, fingers clicking away day and night, to finish the next book in the series.

The great escape and the EPIC PROJECT OF 2023 Reveal!

Happy New Year! Okay, I’m twenty days in, I know, but I’ve been nose down into a project (I call it my writing cave) and am just coming up for air.

And it’s been a fun project…so fun that it sort of swept me away for most of November and December.

Merry Christmas from Susie May!

I know you’re probably rolling out pies, or cleaning the house, or in my husband’s case, making gourmet ramen noodles for his sons who love spicy food…

And, the puzzling has begun.

Which means that we’re all about to settle in for a lovely weekend.

But,
