Updates on Exalted Publication Date & New Review
Hi Everyone
Just some quick updates to let you know that I'll be posting Chapter 2: Deadlocked from Exalted here tomorrow (23 March 2012). Don't forget to be here for a read!
And I have finalized the publication date for Exalted. It's on... (DRUM ROLL)... 03 July 2012! It's my daughter's birthday, and she's always been my personal little good luck charm.
And another thing I'm always excited about - reader reviews. This time, I'm posting all the reviews from Goodreads too. I apologize if I neglected these here - as one reader pointed out to me in a message:

Loved it!!!!!
One of my favorite books this year!!!! Sasha is such a quirky character i really enjoyed reading about her, it took a little while to understand where the story was headed but once i got there, i realized that all the build up was required to build a really strong set of characters and truly draw you into the story. I don't often write reviews but felt this one deserved my 2 thumbs up and i am excited to find out where we go from here!!

Loved it. Can't wait for the second!

I loved this book and could not put it down! It had the start of a great romance/triangle, and the end left you hanging with a lot of questions unanswered, but greatly anticipating the next book. My only complaint is the need for better editing. There were words missing or the wrong word down so I had to interpret. Recommend to all my friends, teenagers and adults!

all I can say is wow. this was an awsome book I really loved it and I can not wait for the second book to come out.

Chapter 2 To Be Posted - 23 March
Dear Readers,
Just to let you all know that I'll be posting the third chapter, which is Chapter 2: Deadlocked in the book, on 23rd March! Come back here for a look then!
Meanwhile, I got 2 more reviews on Amazon!! It's always exciting to read what other people think about your book, so special thanks to the readers who took the time to review my books - whether here or anywhere else!
So here go the reviews!
Cheers,
Farrah
1. I feel like I have read pretty much YA paranormal book out there (ok...that is a slight exaggeration) but I was getting to the point where the characters and story lines were starting to blur and become boring. When Sacred popped up in the "Books Other Readers Bought" section I decided to give it a try.
W.O.W!! This is just what I needed to get back in the groove of reading again. The romance was sweet, there was sort of a love triangle (not my favorite story element) but Sasha was loyal and true to her one love. I found Sasha sweet and endearing, although she could sometimes be annoying with her self deprecation- for someone who is so intelligent and seemingly doesn't WANT to be like the shallow "Barbies" in school she spent an awful lot of time worrying about her appearance. She finally settled into herself though and decided NOT to be a doormat...I LOVED that part :)
If you are looking for something a little different than your typical vampire/werewolf/fey book you should DEFINITELY check this book out!
I CAN NOT WAIT until the next book "Exalted" comes out!!
From Heather
2. Be careful what you wish for as it may just come true; nothing could be truer for fifteen-soon-to-be-sixteen-year-old Sasha Stryker. Just as Sasha is bemoaning her tedious existence, an encounter with Ariston Kavanagh in the park in the middle of the night changes it about a hundred eighty degrees. And alas, her boring life is suddenly riddled with a series of bizarre events that totally defy logic. The very next morning, the first catastrophe strikes, though Sasha would never have guessed that it had anything to do with Ariston's sudden appearance in her ordered life.
Connor Macho, Sasha's ex-best-friend-turned-jock-turned-nemesis, had been ignoring her for two whole years until he decides to kiss her in the presence of twenty odd witnesses in the school locker room. And then Ariston, who had been home-schooled till then, enrolls into her High School. From the moment they met, Sasha has felt a strange, intangible connection with Ariston and the few occasions of being in his presence seem to point toward the fact that he just might be interested in her - in the romantic way. As Ariston and Sasha strike up friendship, Connor starts warning her against him. What's worse - even her best friend and Connor's brother, Ethan Macho is reluctant to accept Ariston as a part of their group. And then there is Devon Macho. The three Macho brothers have been a part of Sasha's life forever and their opinion mattered a lot to her, so she is upset by the attitude of all three Macho brothers where Ariston is concerned.
The book was quite awesome - funny, touching, suspenseful and romantic all at once. Definitely worth a read for YA/Teen paranormal romance lovers. The hero is HOT and the heroine is gutsy, dorky and witty all at once. You'll love Sasha - who's no fainting daisy. Try it - you won't be disappointed...

My First Review from a British Reader!
Hi Readers!
Just found my 1st review from a British Reader on Amazon.co.uk & couldn't wait to share it!
Why, you may wonder! Well, because I am a British Citizen, although I have never set foot in the Great land of Great Britain!
So here it is:
"First off I don't normally write reviews, I browse titles/covers, read book discriptions, read the best then worst reviews and decide to "buy", "borrow", "wish list" or "keep it moving" to the next option. I came arcross this title and decided it was a "borrow". Turns out I was wrong about it just being a "borrow", I should have put it in my "buy" column (stupid me), so I went back to buy the book. As I said before I read many a review and I do see the editing and formatting issues that most point out in their reviews in this book as I have seen in many books in this genre/price point. That being said I do not take that into account in my rating of this book. I saw that not many have rated/reviewed this title so I decided that this book and the characters in it deserved more attention! All I can say is read it because, the girl is smart, funny and extremely endearing. All the guys are swoon worthy including the best friend. The story is different from your average were book and leaves you and the main character with too many question though for some reason, like her, your not too worried about them because you know as well as she does that protection isn't something she is lacking. I'm looking forward to the next book and getting to know how this story unfolds. I hope you will too! ;0)" - From SpaceBetween
So thanks for reading my rambling & come back on Wednesday for the second chapter of Exalted, which is actually Chapter 1...
Cheers!

Exalted - A Short Synopsis
The Sequel to Sacred, Exalted continues Sasha & Ariston's story.
When the Friary Lord, Rhys Knight, shows up in Sasha Stryker's bedroom with promises of revealing secrets about her past, she can't help but be curious. After all, he is the only one even remotely willing to explain her abilities to her.
Ariston Kavanagh, the love of her sixteen-short-years life, is strangely mute when it comes to Sasha's questions about Zathea's legend, insisting it had nothing to do with her. If that's true, then how does one go about explaining her ability to see Weres through their mist or to hear them in their Were form?
Then there's Naomi Terranova, who is now openly stalking Sasha, threatening her with dreadful consequences for being Ariston's "chosen one". And when strange men - definitely not Friaries - show up around town that no one but Sasha can see, her stalker list grows...

Just something wanna share...
Dear Readers
For every first time author, there's usually some level of uncertainty and insecurity about their books.
When I published my book Sacred through Amazon Kindle back in November 2011, I honestly wasn’t sure of its reception by readers! In fact, I didn’t think anyone would buy it & so I didn't even check my Sales Reports – until late January!
Imagine my surprise on seeing that hundreds of copies had been sold – and although until now, I’ve only got four reviews on Amazon, they’re ALL 5-star reviews (yay!).
I’ve posted these here so you can get a picture of what the book is like from some readers’ point of views (and also because I’m so proud of them!!):
1. I was cautious about purchasing the book due to the fact it only had one review. I was unexpectedly surprised at how good it was. This is the first book in a series, and I’m looking forward to reading more! – by Michelle Wyatt
2. I read a sample of this book and just had to finish it! It was a fantastic book that I couldn’t put down. This book had a lot of great twists and magic things to discover. The book ends with a good surprise/twist that leaves you wanting more, which is what a good book should do. I loved the romance, loved the paranormal, loved the guys, and loved the twists. Highly recommend to teenagers and older. Can’t wait for book 2! – by Sara G.
3. Normally whenever I buy book , I look how many reviews book got.. this book only had 3 three review but I was very curious to read book after three chapters I read on author’s blog.
I have to say it was nice and different story from the other books, I liked it a lot.loved all characters, and also loved the prologue mystry which seems to reveal at the end of the book
well I have to wait for second book to find out more. So my new resolution is ” buy the book and judge by yourself rather than waiting for more reviews ”
I enjoyed reading and will buy the next sequal as well.. – by Sky
4. This was one of the best books I read this year! Sasha is so funny and quirky, Ariston is HOT, Connor is the consummate bad boy & Ethan is so adorable!
Sacred is Sasha Stryker’s story, a high school girl, who falls in love with the new guy in town and her life changes drastically. And it Ariston Kavanagh’s story, who comes to a small town for another reason but falls in love instead. And it is the story of Connor Macho, whose determination to stay away from his childhood best friend crumbles when Ariston starts to court her.
Sasha, oblivious to the danger she in, is ecstatically in love until a lioness attacks her in the same park. And a white tiger saves her, in the nick of time. Her world starts to fall apart. From being targeted by an angry Were lioness to Ariston catching Connor kissing her, her perfect love story seems doomed. But her life had not seen the end of its share of catastrophes as dark creatures call Friaries try to kidnap her.
I won’t say more – you have to read it to find out what happens. Suffice to say it has many twists & turns and keeps you hooked till the end! Love love love it – recommend to all! Can’t wait to read the 2nd one – hope the author hurries up!!! – by Anna Hampton
It is always awesome to hear from readers, to see what they think about your work. To me personally, readers' reviews are really important; they boost my confidence & make me work even harder to complete my next book.
So that's all I wanted to share today.
Thanks for reading!
Farrah
