Amazon=Big Brother=Good grief

Image

I’m watching you.

Amazon is at it again — purging titles they find “offensive” so as to protect our sensibilities from irreparable harm. And this time, they are being downright Draconian about it.

You may remember last September something similarly underhanded happened when they started applying a filter to adult titles, which ended up being the kiss of death for a title by relegating it to the dusty, cobweb-infested halls of Amazon’s equivalent of an OUBLIETTE. If your title had the misfortune of being labeled ADULT, you could pretty much kiss any hope of sales goodbye. It was heartbreaking to see entire catalogues wiped out with a keystroke. And the filter wasn’t always applied with any sort of rhyme or reason. Authors started whispering in fearful tones about the dreaded adult filter but as awful as it was, it was only the beginning.

Now, Amazon has taken matters a bit further by actually DELISTING and BLOCKING titles they deem offensive. And the worst part? Trying to figure out what is considered offensive because as we all know, that can be pretty subjective. What I find offensive might be fun and games to someone else. Apparently, the watchdogs at Amazon are painting with a fairly wide brush and they’re gleefully taking down people’s livelihoods as they go about their purity crusade.

So far I’ve had at least eight of my titles targeted — three of which were very good sellers. Am I angry? Hell yes. Amazon, in its infinite wisdom, has decreed that my some of my work is offensive to someone out there. Well, boo hoo. Instead of stomping another’s art into the ground just because it doesn’t conform to YOUR standard of purity, how about installing an adult filter that can be switched on and off? I mean, for crying out loud, even Smashwords (which has a terribly archaic system) has a button that will restrict adult content, why can’t Amazon put their heads together and find a similar solution?

I guess it’s because Amazon has too much money and thus, they don’t need those dirty book writers sullying their marketplace with filthy prose. Pssst…Amazon, your cravat needs straightening (oh, and while you’re at it, please remove the riding crop from your ass.)

Here’s the thing: Amazon has every right to refuse service to anyone they choose, however, they cannot police what people will seek out. The bottom line is Amazon is pushing their customers to other distributors. And I guess that’s okay with them because Amazon is a Goliath, rolling in so much green that they warm their toes with hundred dollar bills. Good for them. But for us regular folk, losing out on thousands of dollars a month affects how we buy groceries, clothe our children, and pay our mortgages. We are not faceless numbers; we are people who are working hard to make a living doing something we love.

I am disgusted by this latest round of senseless carnage. Do I recognize that some titles out there are truly gross? Sure. And that’s why I don’t read them. I am not their target audience. But I’m sure as hell not going to tell someone just because I don’t like the subject matter that they can’t enjoy it either. Frankly, where does it stop? Let’s not forget that at one time certain classics were considered verboten by those in authority. Am I comparing great literature to some of the obviously dirty sex-fests that are out there? No, but who are we to judge because at the end of the day one simple fact is being blatantly ignored: they are words on paper. Let that sink in for just a moment. WORDS ON PAPER (or cyber paper as it were). No one is being filmed, watched, or forced to read these offensive works. What someone enjoys reading for pleasure isn’t anyone’s business.

And it sure as hell isn’t Amazon’s job to chastise us for our choices.

I’ve likely painted a big, red bullseye on my back and I suspect more titles will fall under the blade and all I can do is share what is happening as it happens. With enough pressure/exposure, perhaps the general public can make a difference. Whereas one voice is small, several voices create a chorus.

So far Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and Smashwords are not jumping on board with this purity crusade so perhaps we should reward them with our hard-earned dollars. Just a thought.

Warmly,

Alexx Andria

Broken boy and their pretty toys

The latest bad boy billionaire, Boston Kincaid!

The latest bad boy billionaire, Boston Kincaid!

Finally! A new release! It’s been a terribly long time since I put out something new so I’m very excited to offer my latest bad boy billionaire, Boston Kincaid. This guy definitely needs some healing and although she doesn’t know it yet but Julianna Holly is just the woman to do it.

***
Get ready to immerse yourself in the wealthy life of Boston Kincaid, the newest billionaire romance from best-selling erotic romance author, Alexx Andria.

Boston Kincaid is ruthless when comes to getting what he wants – and from the minute he sees Julianna Holly, he’ll stop at nothing to have her in his bed. It’s all about finding the right leverage, right? When Julianna finds herself within Boston’s crosshairs, she doesn’t stand a chance. But neither realizes how one indecent proposal has the power to change their lives forever.

This is the first installment of a three-part serial. Enjoy!

***

EXCERPT:

Julianna stood and in spite of the fire in her eyes, he caught the subtle tremble in her body as she declared, “I’ve made a mistake. I can’t go through with this. I’m sorry but I’m not cut out for this kind of thing. I know there are women out there who would jump at an opportunity to be your beck-and-call girl but I’m not that girl. I was wrong to accept and I know I signed a bunch of paperwork but…I just can’t.” Boston chuckled as he removed his jacket and tossed it to the French, ornate armchair that he personally despised, and began unbuttoning his shirt cuffs. When he didn’t immediately answer, she took a step away from him and said, “What are you doing? Didn’t you hear me? I can’t do this. I’m sorry. Find someone else. Obviously, I will return the money. I’ll find a way to help Tom on my own.”

At that he arched his brow and stripped his shirt from his body. “Really? How industrious of you. Have you a spare $300,000 lying around that I’m unaware?”

“Of course not,” she said, scowling. “You know that.”

“Yes, I do know that. I also know that you’re late on your payment to Serene Hills, the managed care facility where your brother was moldering away in his hospital bed. How many late payments do they allow before they toss your brother on his broken ass?”

She blinked back tears, hatred in her expressive eyes. “You’re a bastard. You already know the answers to the questions you’re asking.”

“Yes, I do. The answer is three. And you’re on No. 3. What’s the plan after they toss him out? Your apartment isn’t suitable for Tom’s wheelchair and your bedroom is much too small for the specialized hospital bed he needs. What’s your grand plan?”

“I don’t know!” she cried, tears appearing. “But I’ll figure something out. I just can’t do what you’re asking me to do.”

He tsked as if he felt true empathy for her situation but in truth, he was in ruthless mode and he’d do just about anything to keep her to her word. He unbuttoned his trousers and let them fall, kicking them free. He took a seat on the bed and began to remove his socks. It did not escape his notice that her gaze had strayed to the bulge in his boxer briefs. He had nothing to hide and was pleased to note the sudden flush in her cheeks as she skewed her gaze sharply. “My sweet Julianna…stop fighting the inevitable. Your heart is your biggest strength and likely, your biggest handicap. You will do whatever it takes to help heal your brother because you love him so much. You’re a good little sister and you should be proud of your character. Is that what you need to hear so you can go forward without guilt?”

“It’s not guilt I feel,” she retorted, wiping at her eyes. “It’s shame.”

“Shame? For what?” he asked, settling onto the bed, enjoying watching her even as she struggled. Everything about her intrigued him. “Women have been bartering the pussy for centuries. It’s really nothing new or worth getting worked up over.”

“Yes. Men have been coercing and manipulating women for a very long time but it doesn’t make it right.”

“That’s a matter of opinion I suppose. Seems right to me.” He shrugged with a negligent smile. “Now, enough with this nonsense and put on the lingerie.”

“Does anyone ever tell you no?”

“Not successfully.”

She exhaled a short breath of exasperation but he could tell she was wavering. He was an expert in reading people — a decided benefit in his position — and knew she was on the edge of capitulating. The key to any successful negotiation was to know the opponent’s weakness. Julianna’s weakness was embarrassingly easy to discern. “It’s a pity you’re reneging on the deal. At this moment, Tom is being readied for transport to the airport. His suite, compared to the one he’s currently staying in, looks as luxe as the Taj mahal. But I suppose I can cancel the order. However, I thought I should mention that I spoke with a doctor at Stanford about your brother’s injury and he said there’s a window of opportunity that quickly closes for treatment. And Tom’s window is rapidly closing.”

“Tom’s doctor never told us that,” she said, chin lifted. “You’re lying.”

“Why would I lie? It makes no difference to me if your brother never walks again. Besides, why would your doctor dangle hope in front of you when he knows you’ll never have access to the kind of treatment your brother would need? Seems unnecessarily cruel, if you ask me.” He shifted and pulled his underwear off, tossing them to the floor, smiling when she gasped at seeing him completely nude with a rock-hard erection eagerly springing into view. He palmed his cock and grinned. “Are we finished with the moral dilemma? If so, I’m ready to get this party started.”

A long moment stretched between them but Boston’s confidence never wavered. He knew she’d cave. She was too tender-hearted for her own good. He tried not to crow with triumph when Julianna dragged her feet to the edge of the bed and grabbed the box. “There’s a girl…” he murmured, pleased.

“I hate you,” she hissed, clutching the box to her chest. “For the rest of my days, I will hate you until I die for making me do this.”

“Duly noted.” His smile faded and his tone hardened. “Now hurry up so I can fuck you.”

At that she quickly ran to the bathroom and slammed the door shut.

Boston ignored the sting of her words and focused on his victory. It didn’t matter how she felt about him as long as he could feel her body beneath his. That’s all that mattered, he reminded himself. That’s. All. That. Mattered.

My new pen name will be…Scatterbrain

brain smile

Yep. That’s me. I can’t get my head to cooperate with anything creatively lately. I’ve never suffered from the handicap of being distracted by new and shiny stories while I’m still working on something else but as my birthday approaches…it seems my brain has decided to heap something new onto my plate.

I can’t focus to save my friggen life. I have great ideas, really! But…they’re not going far. I work everyday but my output is very pathetic. I think I’ve rewritten the same 20 pages at least as many times (another thing I never do) and I don’t know what the hell is wrong with me. Maybe it’s exhaustion. Maybe it’s the pressure of my personal life. Maybe…I don’t know. So, I posted a snippet of a piece of work that I was working on a few weeks ago. I don’t think I will continue that one for a while. I’ve jumped onto something new that I really like but it’ll take some time to finish. I am considering releasing it as a three part serial. I know some people “hate” serials but some people love them so…I don’t know…still deciding.

All right…guess that’s it. Just wanted to pop in and let you guys know what was happening with me at the moment. :-)

Thanks for being such loyal fans. You really do infuse the joy into my life!

Warmly,

Alexx

The Sniper

The Sniper

Looking for something to read? My alter ego, Kimberly Van Meter, has a spicy romantic suspense that is available NOW! I really love this book. It’s funny, sexy, adventurous and exciting, in other words, a perfect read! ;-)

Here’s what an early reviewer had to say:

“Riveting action plus powerful sexual magnetism make THE SNIPER constantly engrossing. There is suspense throughout and countless unknowns up the danger level to sky-high. The dynamic main couple is not your typical lovers, and lots of unexpected amusement also doubles the reading pleasure. Kimberly Van Meter has constructed a fascinating world of cloak-and-dagger operations, and lives are forever changed when emotions become involved….” — Cataromance

Romantic Times magazine gave it four healthy stars, too! So, while you’re waiting for something from Alexx…why not try Kimberly? :-)

Warmly,

Alexx

Breathless

I’ve been hard at work, doing something new! It’s a hybrid, New Adult-Romantic Suspense! Here’s a taste!

***

His eyes shone like hard bits of precious blue stone as he held my gaze, swallowing my soul. The message was loud and clear: I hate you for wanting you so badly. How did I know this? Because I felt the same way.

I wanted to reject this overwhelming desire to dissolve into his being nor did I want to admit that I had fallen just as quickly and dangerously for whatever it was that was happening to us both. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. If I tell you how it all started, maybe you’ll understand our confusion and you’ll get why neither of us wanted this intense catastrophe that we were both willingly courting. I mean, who actually drove straight for the cliff, Thelma and Louise-style? Before this moment, I would’ve said, I have no idea because it sounded crazy and I didn’t do crazy.

So how did it start?

Well…it started like this.

***

“Take slow, deep breaths…you’re in shock. Don’t worry, you’re safe.”

My teeth chattered as my entire body shook with cold and fear. The bite in the air was typical for winter in Washington state but the chill seemed to seep into my bones with malicious intent as it wrenched every bit of heat from my body as I coped with the events that had enveloped me in a nightmare’s embrace. “What’s your name?” I swung my gaze away from the clot of officers swarming the wooded area, looking for the man who had kidnapped me the day prior, and stared for a long moment, uncomprehending. His voice gentled as he tucked the blanket around me more tightly. The mist in the air made the rough fibers of the blanket smell like a wet dog but I didn’t care because I was damn lucky to be alive. “Ma’am…? Do you know your name?”

“C-charlie,” I stammered, forcing my own name from my lips as if it were stuck in my throat. “M-my name is Charlie Lansing.”

An approving smile spread across his mouth and I was inordinately distracted by how sensual his lips were. Totally inappropriate but maybe that was part of the shock setting in — my brain was throwing random bits of weird observations to distract me from the fact that my body was in imminent danger of shutting down.

“Good girl,” he said, rubbing my arms lightly to force circulation into my limbs. I’d been tied up in an old hunting cabin and I feared my arms might actually fall off if no one found me in time. “The ambulance is on the way. My name is Detective Luca Santucci and I’m here to help you but I need you to stay focused. Can you remember anything about the man who kidnapped you?”

I shook my head, trying to shake some sense into my brain. “I was asleep in my b-bed and then I woke up in that cabin,” I answered, shuddering at the memory. “I think he drugged me.”

“That seems to fit the M.O.” he agreed, still watching me carefully. I felt safe under that intense gaze, as if I could fall into his arms and forget everything that had just happened over the last twenty-four hours. But I knew that wasn’t possible. Somethings were permanently scratched into my memory like a cutter’s blade against fresh skin. “What else do you remember?”

I didn’t want to remember but I knew it was important.

“I’d been studying for a monster psych exam and I went to bed late. Then, I woke up here. I don’t know how I got here,” I admitted in a small voice as I began to shake again. This sort of thing didn’t happen to normal people like me. This was something that happened to people in the movies. It was a great plot — cute blonde college co-ed kidnapped from her apartment by some psycho with an agenda — but it wasn’t something that happened for real. Right? “I didn’t think I’d left the door unlocked but I was really tired…I don’t know…maybe?”

He put my fears to rest, saying, “He came in through the window and unlatched the front door. Bottom floor apartments should always have locking windows. At least that’s my opinion.”

I nodded. Surely, he knew what he was talking about. I could only imagine what kind of horrors he’d seen or investigated as a detective in this town.

I wanted to be helpful but I really couldn’t think of anything that might be of use. And besides I was fading fast, my legs felt like rubber and my brain like mush. My fatigue must’ve been written all over me because he signaled for the paramedics to come and collect me. “The ambulance is here. I want you to go with them and do what they say. I don’t want you to worry because you’re safe. Okay?” I nodded — or at least I think I nodded or I might’ve just jerked my head a little as I allowed the paramedic to lead me to the ambulance. I took one final glance back at Luca and if I lived to be a hundred I’d never forget what he looked like that day — tall, shoulders braced against the wind, blue eyes intense and searching — and something shifted inside of me, something that I couldn’t define or explain. But it changed everything. This was the man investigating my kidnapping, trying to find the man who would later be dubbed “The Boyfriend,” because this particular serial killer fancied himself in love with the women he abducted, and yet my heart sped up and I felt woozy. I’d like to say it was the danger of the moment, the adrenaline coursing through my veins as fear battled with the oxygen to my brain, but it wasn’t and I’d be lying if I said it was. The fact of the matter was, it was something far more primal, and infinitely more dangerous — and I wanted more.

Well? What do you think?

Home Sweet Home

73355_10151543300318947_30628757_n

Here’s me, exhausted, on Saturday during the last leg of RWA’s national conference in Atlanta, GA. Such a wonderful whirlwind of networking, learning, listening, and laughing. This year was particularly awesome as I got the opportunity to gab with mega rising star Julia Kent as well as picked up an autographed copy of Sara Fawkes mega hit, Anything He Wants. RWA is a wonderful time and I never miss it. Next year, the conference is in Texas! I’ve never been to Texas so this should be particularly exciting.

It’s so wonderful to sleep in my own bed, cuddled up to my favorite snuggle parter, as well as back to the familiar but that also means back to work! Next week I will post a poll to get my fans opinion on what they’d like to see next. Quite a few have asked me if Lana Winters and Laird Teichert have a story in the pipeline and I feel that yes, they do have a story but I need to gauge interest in a spin-off series about the Teichert family before I jump into that one. He’s also a rich, spoiled boy from a slightly different background in construction and as you know from the BB series, Lana was grievously wounded during an unfortunate incident at Malvagio. So…yeah…what do you think? Let me know your thoughts.

I want to give a big shout out to all my newsletter fans. We’ve managed to barrel past the 1,000 subscribers mark! I feel so lucky to have such eager fans who appreciate my work. Nothing makes an author feel warm and fuzzy faster than fans who clamor for their work.*sigh* Thank you for the warm and fuzzies!

The next week should be brutal as I finish up a contracted book for Kimberly but then I should have some time to play.

Oh! Before the end of the year I plan to get a new look for the website! I plan to overhaul this bitch and get a fresh, professional look so that should be fun!

Anyway, hope you’re enjoying your summer and staying cool.

Warmly,

Alexx

June 20, 2013

And now for something less cheery…

Many have noted that I’ve had some serious personal troubles lately and I am going to share right now. My parents and I have been fighting to save my 6-year-old nephew from an abusive home life but we failed in our bid for guardianship. We’re out of money and need a new attorney to file a retrial as well as petition for grandparent’s rights. But the cold hard truth is we’re tapped out. We spent $10,000, which included hiring a private investigator, and we have nothing to show for it — not because we didn’t have evidence — but because the judge found the evidence irrelevant to our case.

Here was my original Facebook post, written with tears streaming down my face, at 3 a.m. after losing in court in June 14, 2013.

***

The word for the day: Relevance.

That was the objection for every point of evidence brought to the court.

Let me share a story about relevance and how it made the life of one little 6-year-old boy IRRELEVANT.

• When he was six months old, his mother was found walking with him in 30-degree weather in the snow, while he was wearing only a diaper and a thin t-shirt. His little toes were blue and his body was chilled to the bone.

• When he was three years old, my mother (his grandmother) rushed him to the doctor’s office because when he urinated, a thin, ropey substance came out. The doctor’s diagnosis: extreme dehydration and malnourishment and his tiny body was literally digesting itself in an attempt to stay alive. Reported to CPS but no action taken.

• When patches of his hair were missing from his scalp, it was blamed on a bad haircut even though it was apparent the hair had been ripped from the root.

• Puncture wounds on his arms and bruises on his legs were reported to CPS but no action taken.

• His maternal uncle slaughtered his pet rabbit in front of him as a punishment and to keep him quiet about abuse.

• A court order states his maternal uncle is to stay away from the boy, and yet, he “visits” the residence where the boy is living. Not important.

• The court has previously ordered a hair follicle test for the mother and father. To date, no compliance and no action taken by the court.

• The court has previously ordered counseling for the boy. To date, no compliance and no action taken by the court.

• Until recently, the boy slept on the stairs or the floor because he didn’t have a bed and would often go to school wearing clothes two sizes two big or small. Not important.

• He was failing the first grade. Not important.

• He was left multiple times at the bus stop —forgotten — so that the school had to call my mother to come get him. Not important.

• He shakes and flinches around adults. Not important.

• His father’s girlfriend attacked him with scissors during a domestic violence event. Not important because the charges were later dismissed because his father recanted.

• The father and mother both have suspended driver’s licenses; neither hold jobs. The father has openly admitted to selling marijuana to supplement his income. Not important.

• Prior criminal history, which includes acts of violence, was deemed unremarkable.

• In an entire year, the boy didn’t gain a single pound, remaining a frail 32 pounds but in the two weeks he was in the custody of his paternal grandmother he gained 7 pounds from regular meals. Not important.

• The father was seen by multiple witnesses being abusive, jerking the boy around and screaming at him for daring to be happy to see his paternal grandmother, at a school event and nothing was said or done by any of the mandatory reporters.

• The school is mandated by state law to record all calls made in regards to the child’s health and welfare in his cume file and yet, the school admitted that “they don’t do that.” So, when it came time to show the court, when such instances happened, there was no record.

• The father has never participated in the child’s financial responsibility; his only enjoyment of being a father was delivering discipline and terrorizing the child. Not important.

• The mother is dying of lupus and cannot see to her child’s care. Not important.

• The maternal step-grandfather is growing an illegal amount of marijuana in his home, exposing the child to substances the court has ordered him to be free from. Can’t prove it.

• The father has proven to be hateful, spiteful, and cruel to the child when it suits him and when he wants to punish his parents for imagined slights. Not important.

• The court investigator, whom the court cannot (and will not) provide documentation as to her credentials, did not actually visit the maternal grandparent’s home where the child was living, nor did she visit the facility where the mother is currently residing to determine if she’s competent to make decisions for the child. She also found the father’s house, dirty, yet sufficient. Apparently broken glass from shattered windows and dog feces everywhere is an acceptable environment for a child. (Would she allow her children or grandchildren to live there? Not likely.)

• This is how kids fall through the cracks of the very system created to protect them. The judge in this case didn’t feel any of the previous family law history was relevant to the guardian case, in spite of the fact that all of the above statements pointed to a history of abuse and potential detriment to the child. In the end, one 6-year-old child was found to be IRRELEVANT in the eyes of the court.

When it’s all said and done, we’ll have spent $10,000 to protect a child from the people who are hurting him and now, the court system that failed him.

There is no greater pain than that of being forced to hand over a small, shaking and sobbing child who, wailing asks in total terror, “Do I have to live with them forever?” and having no choice but to give him back to the very people who are destroying him.

This was not a case of two sets of grandparents fighting over a child. This is one set of grandparents who’ve actively lied and cheated, taken advantage of the system, mocked and provoked the other side to the point of insanity and another set of grandparents who are just trying to keep their grandson safe and healthy.

The system is irrevocably broken and the path is stained with the blood of every innocent it fails.

To the judge: it is fortunate for you that the judge presiding over your bid for guardianship for your grandchildren did not see fit to find your flesh and blood IRRELEVANT. If only we’d been so similarly fortunate.

The message is loud and clear. One small boy, who has no control over who is in his life or how he is treated, doesn’t matter in the eyes of the court.

To the people who’ve been fighting the lies, the ignorance, and the courts — he means everything.

I want the world to hear this cry of pain because that’s all we’ve been left with. Please like or share. Spread this message so that the world might weep with us. Maybe that’s how we can make real change before it’s too late.

***

Now we are fundraising to hire a new attorney. If it’s in your heart to share the link or donate, you would have my gratitude but far more important, you would be helping a small boy who can’t help himself.

Happy notes

vectorstock_1024894

Recently, Amazon implemented some changes to their vetting process, which included discontinuing their “like” feature as well as the tagging feature. I don’t mind losing those features as they were a bit cumbersome and time consuming to manage for the author and the reader. Another change was the prompt for readers to review their purchase as Amazon algorithms give more weight to more favorably reviewed books and sink low starred reviewed books so as to make room for the, presumably, superior choice for the consumer. Whether or not this is a good thing in the long run, as readers have complained about the prompt, saying it makes them feel pressured into doing something they might not have, otherwise remains to be seen but it has created a nice uptick of good reviews for many of my titles.

Often, writers grouse about the inevitable one-star reviews that happen because no one likes to have their work pointed at and called ugly but I thought instead of giving attention to the one-star, let’s celebrate the readers who found the work amazing. The bottom line is this: life can be hectic and stressful more often than it is beautiful and fulfilling. To know that I’ve created a moment of pleasure in someone’s otherwise chaotic and stressful life gives me joy and is beyond humbling.

So, I’ve plucked a few stellar reviews left behind on my work for my “Top Rated” wall of celebration! If you see your review, let me know! As always, thank you for being such lovely, loyal fans. :-)

“I LOVED IT

This book wad great j ‘really enjoyed reading this book once I started I couldn’t put it down I had to keep reading. All can say is you most read this book.” — Precious, reviewing The Buchanan’s Baby

“I enjoyed this book. I could lose myself in this book, good descriptions. I would recommend this book to anyone who reads romances or adult books.” — Martha Braddy, reviewing The Buchanan’s Baby

“Absolutely just love it can’t wait to buy the next book it’s up their right next to fifty shades of grey for me.” — Maria George, reviewing Bought By The Billionaire Brothers

“I must admit, I got the first installment free, and after reading it; I instantly went in search of the remaining chapters. The story line didn’t loose anything from start to finish, and had me captivated from begining to end. Very well writen. Though it’s an “erotica” novel and yes there are some very steamy scenes, the story was always there. When I came to the end, I nearly cried. So happy and well writen, I was moved. Well Done, Alexx..I look foward to more of your work.” — Rebecca Corbine, reviewing Bought By The Billionaire Brothers Bundle

“All I can really say is wow….my kind of fantasy, makes real life seem very dull at times, this book is a re readable book.” — Joi Marazita, reviewing Bought By The Billionaire Brothers

“It’s a huge leap from the first Bought by Billionaire Brothers to The Buchanan’s Baby but the author landed it beautifully. One minute it’s down and dirty erotica and around the curve here comes Springfield, USA and there’s Leave it to Beaver ( which sounds incredibly filthy but it’s still true and funny). Is there anything sexier than a tamed rake? I don’t think so..this book was not too short and never lagged. Found just one typo so almost perfection. This isn’t a stand alone but the bought by billionaire bundle is now out and I can’t wait for Vince’s story.” — Rainbow Tourist, reviewing The Buchanan’s Baby

“I’m SO happy I was able to get this series as a bundle so that I didn’t have to go from one installment to the next. Bought by the Billionaire Brothers is a captivating story that gave me everything I love in a story: alpha males, shy woman realizing her potential, and a twist that grabs you and won’t let go. Honestly the twist that Alexx Andria gives is was heart wrenching and beautifully done, I honestly did not see that coming at all. The ending left me satisfied (plus the fact that she’s doing spin offs for two very beloved characters). The characters where well written and had a depth to them that made it easy to empathize and sympathize with/for them. Overall I would highly recommend this series to anyone who loves the Romance/erotica genre seeing as this is one of those few pieces you can genuinely say “Bravo” to.” — Booksmart, reviewing Bought By The Billionaire Brothers bundle

“I am so happy that the series ended the way that it did. I will say that i will recommend to anyone that wants to read this book to make sure that you read the other books in this series first. They stop and start up again very quickly. HAPPY READING.” — Nancy, reviewing The Destined

“Reading “Brought by the billionaire brothers” Series was a Privilege from beginning to end. The fact that you made this story seem real was like no other I’ve ever read before, In this case Penny was able to make a difference in the lives of the Buchanan brothers on something that seem impossible to repair. And now two people were able to love, but does it have to end there? Thank you Alexx Andria for this amazing work.” — BBW/Erotica/Paranormal, reviewing Bought By The Billionaire Brothers 6

“This book was fantastic n I can’t wait to read the next one and more. I give this author an A+” — C, reviewing Bought By The Billionaire Brothers

This is by no means all of the five star reviews but they are a good handful! If you’ve never considered leaving a review for an author’s work, if you loved the work, why not tell the world? Thank you to all my loyal readers and fans for continually making my job THE BEST EVER.

Warmly,

Alexx
