Dr. Pushpinder Chowdhry is a psychotherapist and community advocate who has spent more than thirty eight years supporting vulnerable communities and raising awareness of social issues. Recognising cinema's power to inspire dialogue, she co founded Tongues on Fire Ltd, organiser of the UK Asian Film Festival. Her work has earned numerous honours, including an MBE for services to the community and arts.
