Not Just another Mozart story.

Another Mozart book? You may be surprised to know that despite there being an odd number of fictional novels out there about Mozart as much as there are movies, there has never been an attempt to tell the story of Wolfgang A. Mozart in the manner I am. Would you believe the letters and documentation cover the span of his thirty five years of life? From his birth to his death and even after him, we have as many surviving letters as is possible about the life of Mozart, and many of these you can find collected almost in a diary like style in books from various authors. Two of my favorite translations are done by Elizabeth wallace and Emily Anderson, though these books are hard to track down and find i do own them and gladly have used them as they are public domain, when referencing letters and research for the whole of the Faithfully Yours Mozart series. From the first book on there isn't a time when i don't pull out any of these books to help me as I'm crafting the series. Although the letters aren't my only source, there are lots of other books i utilize such as Mozart's women, Mozart the reign of love, A Mozart Pilgrimage, and other texts, including reaching out to the Mozarteum on occasion, by now I'm sure they know my name, I've reached out quite a bit. But, the whole point is, never, in all the fiction I have found, does anyone seem to focus on Mozart's day to day in a manner that I hate to say, but likened to that of a series such as downton abbey meets Bridgerton. That is how i view my book series, in my head i envision my take on Wolfgang, Constanze, the weber sisters and the world of their lives beyond the marriage as a sweeping five seasons of an unproduced tv show where the lead is a neurodivergent actor and is filmed in Vienna (would you believe most movies and films about mozart aren't, save for some from the 1930's!) But, that's what i want to say about mine. It is not just another solo book where we focus on a part of the mozart story. In fact for five books it's purpose is to take it's readers through the ten years of marriage that Wolfgang and Constanze had. You will see them in their trials, you will laugh with them in their silliness, you will cry when they have loss and grief and hardship and you will, i hope, fall in love with a love story that hasn't been given its rightful dues of respect and empathy.
So. it's not just another Mozart story, it is in fact five books, covering the beauties of a love that was encouraging, sweet, and withstood much heartache.

A Snowy sunday with Mozart: Coffee please!

Do you have snow where you are? I have to say, I currently do! It's about -6 Celsius (21 Fahrenheit) and I've been doing a bit of research today for my third Novel in the Faithfully yours Mozart series, you can check out my new author's page linked below at the end of this article.
I must say, the amount of research that goes into all this is beyond the count for this little blog, If i could describe the journey to my coffee (or in some cases for me, tea) with dear Mozart, as I so often have been taking these last few years, I think it would fill this entire box! I wish i could show you a picture or two, of the stack I have forming of all the reading I've got ahead of me.
Did I also mention book two is coming in Hardcover this January? It's slated for Wolfgang's birthday, Jan. 27th! Our dear Maestro is quite old, you know, but ever spry in his energy and timeless in his history.
Alas I shall close and hope to share more exciting advents soon,
link to my author's website, I hope you'll give it A peek!
