And an excerpt because it's fun to share!

A black velvet pouch sat nestled next to a crimson velvet pouch and a folded piece of paper poked out from between them. Hmm. I should read the message first. I grabbed the paper.

The box is yours if you agree to play. If you agree, remove your clothing and put your black stilettos on. Open the black pouch. Follow the instructions within. If you choose not to play, place the box back on the table.

I love Zeke. I do, but the man can be so... confusing. And hard to read. But this sounded like the precursor to sex. Yes! Or something else. I said he was hard to figure out. I nibbled the inside of my cheek. I lived for a challenge, but was this a challenge? I glanced down at the paper once more. Go figure, I'd missed the last line.

Yes. This is a challenge.

Damn, the man knew me well. I lifted the red pouch from the box. Yeah, the rules said I had to get naked first. I would -- once I saw what was in that damned pouch.

I said I'm nosy. Sue me.

The velvet smelled of lavender, and I breathed in the delicate scent. So comforting, lavender -- like laying naked in an open field waiting for him to spank my ass or bend me to his kinky will. God, I had sex on my brain. The strings gave way as I slid the contents from the pouch. I nearly fell off the sofa.

He'd listened.

Champagne pearls, a single strand with a feature clasp in the shape of a heart. In the middle of the heart sat a cluster of rubies. Better than my wildest dreams. I glanced at the note and my mind raced. He wanted me in nothing but the heels? Hell, yeah.

I stumbled from my seat and rushed into the bedroom. He'd never actually said where I had to get naked. Ever industrious, I tossed my work clothes -- a pencil skirt and button-down blouse -- into the hamper. The hose went next. Not that I cared about them much -- ever since the runner in them that happened at lunch. Screw it. I tossed my bra into the dresser and stopped to assess my look in the mirror. My hair stuck out in wild tangles, and a crimson blush stained my cheeks. I know I'm not as sexy as I was when I first met Zeke. Life happened and gravity took over a bit. I'd like to think I'm still in decent shape for my age, but I won't win any awards.

I worked open the clasp on the strand of pearls and draped the delicate necklace about my throat. Whoever it was that declared the look of pearl against bare skin was sexy... was right.

Maybe it was the wine. Maybe it was the pearls or the thought of watching porn, but I'd never felt so turned on in my life. I wasn't even totally naked yet, but damn, I liked how I looked. I ran my fingers over the pearls. My nipples beaded, and I resisted the urge to tweak them. Cream seeped between my thighs.

I needed to lose the panties and go back out to the living room, but I couldn't get my feet to move.

"You got farther than I thought."

tradigi / 123RF Stock Photo

I've got a hot menage that just happened to land in my inbox only because I've got a great group of friends to egg me on and to supply photos for inspiration! I'm titling this one, Watch Me!

“I’m always game for adding a third.” She rested her forehead on Tony’s and breathed him in. “Especially if the third is you.”

Tony balked and sat down hard on his heels. They thought of this with him?

Ten Line Tuesday!

I've been issued many challenges, but this one had a picture attached to it. Now because I don't post pics I don't own, I can't show it to you, but trust me, Stephanie Burke found me a hot one. It's the vampire story and it's almost done, so enjoy these ten lines!

“Fuck me, Mathieu. Please? Need you.”

Music to my ears, but I wasn’t about to let him off that easy. I slapped his rump again, leaving more red marks, then dragged my fingernails up the backs of his thighs. “Jesus, that’s good.” He’d made a wet spot on the bed with his precome. Nice.

I shoved my pants to the floor, then squirted lube over my dick. The sizzles started the moment I stroked myself. My fangs dropped in my mouth. This wouldn’t be a simple fuck, not by a long shot.

I spread my fingers over his bottom, pressing my thumbs into his asshole. His toes clenched and he wriggled.

“Feels good.” Lucas moaned. “More.”

Sunday Snoggin' and Make Me

For this week's snog, I thought I'd use my upcoming release, Make Me. Why? It's a hot little read! Just right for a white hot pick me up! Read on:

And now for that snog!!

I focused my attention on him. Zeke traced the line of my lips with the blunt head of his cock. Pre-come smeared on my mouth. The saltiness exploded on my tongue. I loved his tang and wanted more.

“Work for it.” He inched backwards and slapped the flat end of the crop against my inner thigh. “Come get me.”

Dirty, he lived to play dirty. I balanced on my knees and levered myself on my toes enough to go to him. The move was harder than hell considering my entire body quaked. I took him in my mouth. Zeke rocked forward, giving me more of him.

“More, girl.” He threaded the fingers of his free hand in my hair.

I massaged him with my tongue and took him deeper. I buried my nose in the curls at the base of his cock.

“Yeah."

Sexy Cover Saturday!!

romangorielov / 123RF Stock Photo

Opposites attract? Are you kidding?

For Ike Clanton, having competition means winning. Best at the guitar, biggest ride, highest hair, most tattoos. Until he meets Tallulah. She's nothing like he wants, but she's everything he needs -- he just has to figure it out.

Tallulah never wanted to join Glow. She's there as a favor, and not to Ike. An Earth elemental and a rock star shouldn't mix, should they?

Add overzealous greenery and a heaping helping of ego to this mix and shake wildly. Maybe being down to earth isn't such a bad thing after all.

Five Sentence Friday....

tradigi / 123RF Stock Photo

I'm writing a story about vampires, lots of vampires. Grin. Here's my five sentences from this WIP.

“Hold still and they won’t eat you.”

I dragged a breath into my burning lungs and took in my surroundings. Three men stood around me, two with their backs to me and one standing at my feet. I took another breath and let it out slowly, then glanced down at my body. Fuck me sideways, I was naked.

To Bag It Or Not To Bag It, That Is the Question...

I read a review today - not for my work - but for a book I was thinking about buying, where the reviewer said the book wasn't 'good' because the hero used a rubber. Now, if you're like me, you're wondering what the heck was wrong with a guy bagging his junk.

That's good sense? Right? He's thinking about her and him and not getting something.

Okay, so maybe that's not right. If it's romance, then it's fiction and he can be the one man in the entire world who has had partners before but never got a thing from them.

It's possible.

Or she's the only woman in the same predicament. Not probable, but possible.

Or maybe it's not right because the author shouldn't be worrying about him using a rubber. It's fiction, so no one is really getting anything. A fictional character can't get the clap, right? Okay, yeah, that's a not the best example, but you get the idea.

I read more into the review and the reviewer went on to say that since it was a fantasy book, then hero can heal himself and protect himself from whatever she's got (or another he - don't want to get too many details).

That's all well and good, but then again it's not. It's good because its in the future, so we have no idea what strides have been made. It's also good because it's in the imagination of the author, so he or she can write the characters with whatever abilities they want. Heal thy self, STDs don't exist, all that jazz.

But, if the author is the one in charge of the world, then how is it wrong for the character to do what he or she would do? If the author keeps with the mindset of the character and conventions of the world he or she has created, then is it really wrong if characters aren't thinking about rubbers?

Or, and this was a very good point given to me, what if in the frantic moments leading up to the sex act, they FORGET? It happens. LOTS. That opens the door for the oops baby. That might be in the next book. Or what it he wants to procreate, but she doesn't? Just saying, they may want a totlet or they might not.

So is there a great rule saying if the book is contemporary the hero has to bag it? If it's SFF, then he doesn't? And if its UF, then it's up to the author?

I'm wondering. Let me know what you think.

WIP Wednesdays!

trebuchet / 123RF Stock Photo

I've been given yet another plot bunnie. It's funny, I don't really seek them out, but they find me. Not a bad thing, though. Means I have lots of stories to share with you.

So what's on the horizon? I've finished the next Challenges story, Take Me. It's with the editor right now. I'm three quarters of the way through my vampire story. And it's amusing because it's actually fitting with another story I'd written a while ago and forgot about. Seems things happen for a reason.

Once I get the vamps out of the way, I'll go back to the gymnasts. I really want to get back to them. I want to work on the prequel to Believe and a sequel to Under and Over It. One of these days...
