Review: Anatomie Designer Travel Clothes

If there’s one thing I have a problem with when it comes to travel clothing it is that it’s not always very attractive. You may not always want to look like you’re on safari or ready to hike through the rainforest, so you may not be looking at your local outdoor store for items to stock your travel bag. Luckily, not all travel clothes are created equal. With Anatomie Wear, you’ll look more like you’re ready to board a yacht than be the host on Survivor.

Review: Grip Folio from Domeo Products

A few weeks ago I posted a review of the Grip Mini Folio for the iPad mini. I know not everyone has one and Domeo was generous enough to also offer me the full-size iPad case to show you how awesome it is, too. Unfortunately, the pictures are not as exciting, as my clunky original iPad is just thismuch too large to fit into the Grip Folio. I’m not going to let that stop me from showing you the great features of this lightweight and colorful case though. For those of you with iPad 2/3/4, you...

Review: Quik Pod Monopod for Cameras and Mobile Phones

Do you ever go on a trip and want to take a photo of
yourself, but have nobody around to ask to take a picture? Even if you are with other people it’s always nice to have more than one person in a shot,
otherwise you just end up with someone getting left out of all the photos. We
have taken a lot of photos on vacation where it’s just me or just Eric and very
few of the ones we have together are taken far enough away to make a
difference, because you can’t see what’s behind us or...

Travel Light and in Style

Every time I go to an airport, I’m surprised by how few people have unique carry-on bags and even suitcases they check. Maybe they don’t want to stand out and like to read the tag on every bag that passes on the conveyor belt to make sure the one they are picking us is actually theirs. It could be that they just don’t care what their bag looks like as long as it holds clothes and rolls well. You don’t have to be a boring traveler, though. Let your carry-on say something about you and your p...

Statement Pieces Can Lighten Your Travel Bag

Travel planning is not always a fun part of trips, but it is something that needs to be done in order to go on your trip. Many people hate to organize their travel and, even worse, pack. What to take, what not to take, what if it rains or you are invited to a fancy dinner? Nobody wants to look like a tourist on their trips and they certainly don’t want to look back at their vacation photos and wonder what they were thinking when they put an outfit together. There are ways you can look great...

Super Useful Travel Links

Don't forget to enter to win our iPad mini case giveaway sponsored by Domeo Products.

If you’re anything like me, vacation is the time it seems any and all exercise and diet routines go out the window. With so much delicious food available and inviting stretches of beach (or just lounge-y chairs in your lodging) it’s hard to really want to eat well and get off your butt and do…something. We tend to be on-the-go most of the time, but even so it can be a challenge to maintain weight. Even i...

Review & Giveaway: Domeo Grip Mini Folio

This past Christmas many of you probably had a certain electronic gadget on your wish list. I’m talking, of course, about the iPad mini. While some of you may not have the iPad yet, I can tell you, we received both the original size and the mini as gifts over the years and I much prefer the size of the mini. The only problem? It’s super thin and, though it’s pretty rugged, that screen needs some protection, especially if you plan to travel with it. Of course, this is our plan and I’m enjoyi...
