Welcome to Day One of the Princess Fitness Challenge.
A renewed commitment to eat better and exercise more; named by my five year old daughter.
"What’s fitness?" She asked.
"The ability to do more without getting tired," was the best I could articulate.
"OK. Let’s get more fit so if I go to Disney I can see all the Princesses without getting tired!"
Today was a 4km scooter ride to our surf beach with a race up the stairs at the end.
Princesses don’t have to be silly and vapid, they can be kind and responsible and they can inspire us to be more than we currently are.
I think we’re committed now.

The #rumors are true; Peter Wyse is back on the #drums!! Fortunately for all concerned he’s painting drums and not banging on them.
I’m very pleased to announce #PeterWyseArt has agreed to provide the cover art for book two. While there was some discussion about having a Thai elephant involved in the project, the chance to work with Peter again was simply too good to pass up!! (Nothing to do with threats, I mean polite suggestions, from the fine folks of #PETA).
Time to be back to a setlist and editing!

Driving Creek Railway Coromandel New Zealand. A place where iron meets clay, local potter Barry Brickell designed, built and operated a series of tracks, switchbacks and turning points for his custom rail cars.
The trains take the public to a lookout over the Filth of Thames and are also used to harvest the clay from the property used in the art works.
Pottery is available for sale and on display throughout the grounds. Notably visible along the rail lines, placed randomly though the bush and in the sculpture garden.
Perhaps the best theme based attraction I’ve been too.
