Two months after...

Today is the future. Actually, it's the present, but the future keeps gaining on me faster and faster. At the beginning of the year, I had big plans for my blog. I had writing goals and other life schedules to help me transition through the changes I knew were coming. As you can see by my lack of weekly posting, most of them haven't worked out.

The problem was an enormous ball of stress that rested upon my shoulders. That, and an intense spell of bad luck where money, work, and vehicles were concerned. Long, long stories. Anyway...

My divorce has been final for two months, and things are finally turning around for me for the better. *knock on wood*

So what does that mean on the writing front? Wonderful things! 


I'm waiting to hear back from the final beta reader for Wanted: Vampire - Written in Blood, so I'm hoping to have that out soon.

I get my rights back for book one, Wanted: Vampire - Free Blood, on August 24th of this year, so I'll have more control over pricing and will be looking for more ways to promote.

I plan to republish my 10k short story, Autumn's Call, which was originally published in the Cupid Painted Blind anthology.

Currently, two muses have been attacking me with a vengeance. The second book in my Egyptian Duet is well underway, and I've started writing my very first erotica story. I'm excited about both!



I've also started my own editing/proofreading business. It's where my passion lies, and if I can make a living in the writing industry, my dreams will come true. (And my feet won't ache every night)

Hot, fun read!

I’m hooked on Melissa Snark’s werewolf fiction. She added so much more to the myth and the history and masterfully created a truly enjoyable and believable story that surpassed my expectations. The pack is in trouble, with no easy fix, and one woman has the power to change everything. But her choice is not easy. The conflicts kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see how things would play out, and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. This book is smart, witty, and hot, hot, hot…

This book also carries a lot of heart. Zack is a babe, and possibly one of the best heroes I’ve read in a while. The way he waited for Theresa… He’s totally swoon-worthy. I highly recommend this novel!

Done With Love by Niecey Roy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bravo!

I absolutely loved this book! The heroine is entertaining and funny, and I fell in love with the hero the INSTANT he was introduced. Leo is a total babe, and I was rooting for this couple the entire book. The predicament was relatable; I think everyone has felt absolutely ruined by love at one time in their lives, and watching the new relationship unfold was truly heartwarming and fun.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, so I haven’t read the first book in the series. I didn’t feel as though I missed out on anything, meaning it reads as a standalone.

Done With Love is a humorous and beautifully crafted romance, one of the best I’ve read in years!
