Meaning of Success

The word success is a word that has multiple meanings in the eye of the beholder. Success can mean having a great job in the corner office; success can mean having  a booming 401K; success can mean having the latest gadgets and toys in your garage. Success is not all monetary but it is in the eye of the beholder. True success is following what God is asking you to do. Success to God may be  giving food to the homeless. God will remember that and provide for you in the time of need. Success is helping others in their time of need and in turn God gives you what you have been asking for. God’s success and the world success have different meanings. One will benefit you  and the other benefit Him. All success is appointed to God for glory.

Luke 16:12 – And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
Proverbs 19:17 – He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
Proverbs 5:6 – In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Relieving Stress

Stress is prevalent in everyone’s life. Stress comes in different forms and it leads us away from our dependence on God and moves the focus to us with our strength and power. Stress can come from family members jobs, bills, debt, friends and coworkers. It comes from the decisions that we make. It’s ok, God is not mad at us. He knows that we are human. He wants our responses to be different. NO longer can we fix our human issues. He wants us to depend on Him. The only control that we have in our lives is the decisions that we make. God is the author of your life and he is writing the story. He knew we were going to blow it and mess up. That is how great God is. Allow him to speak to your hearts and minds. Our destiny is found when we are not in our stress.  Rejoice now because Jesus will give you the solutions.

Psalm 56:3-4 –  What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Matthew 11:25-30 –  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

The Waiting Game

Waiting on God is hard. Sometimes you think He is not listening. He is listening for every prayer, every declaration and every cry. But He is right on time. He sees everything from a multidimensional view with all of the moving parts. He sees those things coming behind you, on the side and in the front. He sees stuff that we don’t see while we see only one dimensional. With waiting, he knows the right time to move onto the next step. The process of waiting is like a seed growing until it blooms to a beautiful flower. .

Isaiah 43:19 –  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

James 5:7 – Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Psalms 126:5 – They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Divine Connections

Divine connections are God’s way to let you know that He has your back. Those connections are for your destiny. Understand that orchestration of divine connection cannot be orchestrated by you. We have no idea how and where we want to be for his purpose. Frustration sets in when we orchestrate it by ourselves. The Lord has to open the heart of a person for that to be a divine connection. He will guide that purpose toward you. Divine connections are God saying, “I got you”. You are not going to fail. His plans are forever; he has appointed you to do this because generations after you are going to be impacted. Your legacy of obedience is more important than a legacy of personal success than no one will experience.

Isaiah 55:8-9 –  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Psalm 33:11  – The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Proverbs 21:1 – The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

But God

But God is an interjection in your problem. When you are facing trouble with bills and no one can help, there is a But God.  He has interjected in your problem with all of His power. When your kids are not acting like you taught them and you done all you can do but God comes in to handle the situation causing the right people to come in their lives to help. The word “but” is a contradiction of what the actual problem is.  It is the opportunity that the possibility of something else can happen.

When we were children, we believed anything. We believed that we could fly. We believed that we could soar in anything possible but life got in the way and our believing just stopped. When we got older and got some education, the formulas and processes of the world locked us out of the possibilities. We thought God could not do it anymore.  I stand here to stay that He can do anything. He can get you out of debt, increase your career, heal your body and keep your kids out of danger. No matter what happens in life or what diagnosis that you are given, there is a But God. Do me a favor and count your previous But God victories you already have in your life and rejoice.

Ephesians 2: 4- 5-   But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Psalm 66:19 – But verily God hath heard me; he heath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

1 Corinthians 10:13 –  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
