Attention Book Bloggers, Lesbian Bloggers and Romance Novel Bloggers!

If you're a book blogger or lesbian blogger or romance novel blogger (which I realize is a book blogger, but I love to cover all of my bases ;D), and would like a digital copy of my books (either Cage the Darlings or One Solstice Night currently), simply contact me with a link to your blog and which of these books you'd like to review, and I'll send you a copy!

Please note: this is kind of odd to say, but I feel that it's important and that I must: if you are homophobic or promote a homophobic stance on your blog, I'd rather you not read my work. I'm an out gay woman and my books are about out gay women, and I like to avoid bashing for the sake of queerness, thanks ever so much. :) (I wouldn't bring it up if it had never happened. Unfortunately, it's happened. I'd like to avoid that in the future. Review my novels based on the story and other components ALL books are reviewed on. Please and thank you!

The Flower Spell by Elora Bishop

Sophia grew up in her father's flower shop. Before her father died, he made her promise to give away every flower that remained. Sophia keeps her promise and gives the flowers to strangers in the street, handing them out with a breaking heart. But when she is finished, more are delivered, and a note arrives from beyond the grave: "Please give them away until they stop coming. Love, Dad." So every day, Sophia continues her promised quest, even as she feels the grief closing in.

One afternoon, the magic of the flowers reveals itself when she gives away two blossoms to two unusual women who will change her life forever. One is a dumpster-diving anarchist who gives a wink and flirty smile back to Sophia, igniting something in her she hasn't felt in ages. The other is an angel–the same bright creature who took her father's spirit. Sophia begins to fall in love with her, entertaining an angel unawares.

Magic begins to weave the three women together, but Sophia must make the choice: love an unattainable being or a mortal woman who would cherish her forever?

Release Day: Cage the Darlings

I have a post up about pen names at Muse Rising, which means that today, therefore, is the release day of my second novel–my first novel as Elora Bishop, Cage the Darlings. It's an original fairy tale about a thief girl who falls in love with a blackbird shapeshifter, and is a magical, lesbian love story.

On Amazon for Kindle — $5.99

Coming later today on BarnesandNoble.com for Nook

On Smashwords for online reading/other eReaders for $5.99

Print edition coming Monday!

Only a blackbird girl can set her free…

Envy is a lucky lady with a secret vice: she's one of the best thieves in the kingdom–something her current employer, the king himself, has no knowledge of. When one of her more audacious gambles gets her caught, Envy thinks her luck's run out. Infuriated, the king banishes her to Bran Tower, a haunted, forgotten prison of no escape.

But, by day, a mysterious blackbird brings Envy crumbs of food–and, by night, the beautiful ghost Merle befriends her. Or so Envy thinks. When Merle, no ghost at all, reveals her terrible truth–cursed to spend daylight as a blackbird, night as the mortal woman she once was–Envy confesses, too: that she's fallen for the blackbird girl.

But love has made them reckless in a forest of dangerous men. On the night of their planned escape, Merle is kidnapped by a band of brigands seeking the treasure of her father, the Blackbird King. Envy is brave but is now faced with an almost impossible task: to journey through the cursed forest in the hopes of saving her beloved Merle.

CAGE THE DARLINGS is a magical lesbian fantasy novel.

Once, there was a queer lady who happened to be a writer.  Frustrated by the lack of lesbian romances containing anything fantastical in nature, she set out into the world with a stubborn crusade:  to write magical lesbian romances.  She hoped that she was not the only one, the world over, who would enjoy such a thing.  Why, she even hopes that you, fair reader, might be on a quest for just such a book.

Her name is Elora Bishop.  If you are, indeed, looking for an enchanting lesbian romance (if you're not a lesbian, don't worry: you don't have to be a lesbian in order to enjoy a lesbian romance; you just have to enjoy a good love story), look no further.  Within these pages, you will learn a little more about Elora, her stories and books, and if you are moved to read one or two of them, she hopes you enjoy.  :)
