Looking Ahead

For the first time the short film of The Sign of the Shining Beast has been released. Artist John Cockshaw and writer Robert S Malan can be very proud of their work. And so can Luna Press.  A literary adaptation of the film will form one half of the graphic novel, A Darkness In Mind: Quest & The Sign of the Shining Beast, the first instalment of a new Dark Fantasy series from Luna Press Publishing (release date 22nd of March 2016).      

Luna Contest 2015 - Winners & Shortlisted

Dear readers and fellow writers,   It is with immense pride that we announce the winners and shortlisted entries for Round 2 of our inaugural Writers & Illustrators contest.   We were overwhelmed by the volume and quality of submissions for the contest. To those who haven't been shortlisted for this year's anthology, don't be discouraged - keep writing! Round 2 is now closed!

My dear writers and illustrators, we have come to the end of the very first Luna Press Publishing Writers and Illustrators Contest. As was to be expected, today we have received a few more entries. The winner and shortlisted entries will be announced on Tuesday 6th October at 8PM (UK Time). Sheffield's Success!

We had a great time in Sheffield. The staff at Bank Street Arts were simply fantastic. Here is a little video for you to get a glimpse of the exhibition. Next week, artist John Cockshaw and author Robert S Malan will discuss their part of the art show, The Sign of the Shining Beast. This will feature in their new book, to be released by LPP on the 22nd of March.    

14 Days to go!

You can tell we are approaching the end of the final round, as Luna Press is receiving a healthy amount of entries!    Our Fran is running around excitedly, counting the days to the official post, which will announce all our winners and shortlisted writers, as well as the artist who will create the cover for the anthology.   At this stage we are still on track to make the announcement on the 4th of October.   On Friday, the Luna team will head to Sheffield, Bank Street Arts, to enjoy the preview
