Cover reveal. . . and the blurb for Keep Her Secret – out on May 30th
It’s cover reveal time and the blurb! KEEP HER SECRET will be released worldwide on Tuesday, May 30th. Ebook (inc Kindle Unlimited), paperback and audiobook. Available to pre-order from Amazon here.
Here’s what it’s all about. . . In this sinister tale from 4 million copy bestselling author Mark Edwards, a deadly secret turns a couple’s new romance into a nightmare. And they’re not the only ones who know the truth…
After twenty years apart, Matthew and Helena have rekindled their college romance and are away in Iceland on their first holiday together. Swept up in the romance on a mountain hike, one moment they are taking the perfect photo, the next Helena is plunging over the cliff edge…
Terrified, Matthew almost misses Helena’s sudden and shocking confession―but what he hears chills him to the bone. And when Helena reveals the full truth Matthew is horrified, not only by what she’s done, but why she did it. Does he really know her at all?
His shock turns to horror when, back in England, they discover that someone not only overheard Helena’s confession but plans to blackmail her. Now Matthew must decide whether to go to the police or help Helena keep her secret―and as events spiral out of control, how far is Matthew willing to go to protect his ‘perfect’ girlfriend?

Sweetmeat big reveal event: Wednesday, September 14 at 8pm
Exciting news! Join me for a special unboxing as I reveal the Sweetmeat hardcover and tell me how you can get your hands on a copy.
The live event will be taking place on Facebook on Wednesday, September 14 at 8pm. To accept the invite you can click here.
Sweetmeat will be VERY limited and this will be your first chance to reserve yours.
Here’s what Sweetmeat is all about. . .
Sweetmeat is as old as Wales. As old as the valleys and the mountains. He was here long before humans. He was around when dragons ruled this land. Then the people came and Sweetmeat was forced to hide in the river, until he discovered that humans offered nourishment. They tasted good. They tasted sweet.
When four-year-old Nicky goes missing from a housing estate in north Wales, the local kids are sure they know what happened to him. He was taken by Sweetmeat, a creature who loves nothing more than the taste of a naughty child. But when best friends Philip and Sam set off across the valley to Sweetmeat’s lair, they have no idea that the journey will change the course of their lives forever.
I’ll also be sharing details of a very special Halloween event that will be exclusive to people who pre-order Sweetmeat.
Don’t miss out!

I’ll be there – Bloody Scotland’s 10th anniversary!
[image error]Good news for my readers, heading to Bloody Scotland – Scotland’s International Crime Writing Festival taking place in Stirling from Thursday, September 15 to Sunday, September 18. . . I will be appearing alongside fellow authors Lisa Gray and Tony Kent*.
We will be chatting during an event called: ‘Writing in the US of A’, on Saturday, September 17. Here’s the blurb: Meet three British authors whose thrillers are as American as apple pie, hotdogs and donuts – and just as bad for your heart. Multi-million-seller Mark Edwards’ new thriller No Place to Run is set in northern California as a brother desperately searches for his missing sister. Lisa Gray’s Californian set thrillers have topped the charts in both the UK and US and her latest Lonely Hearts centres on a Death Row romance with a serial killer. Tony Kent’s exhilarating No Way to Die kicks off with a body found in Key West and hurtles towards an explosive climax.
(*Tony will, appropriately enough, be joining us digitally from the US.)
Tickets to event cost £8 each and can be bought online here. It is taking place at Tolbooth, Jail Wynd, Stirling, FK8 1DE. Find it on Google maps.
I’ll look forward to seeing you there where I will be handing out some of my special touchy-tool pens marking the publication of my latest book No Place To Run. If you’ve not yet read it you can buy it on Amazon.
See you in Scotland!

Coming soon in June – No Place To Run
Here’s what it’s about. . .
Two years ago, on a trip to Seattle to visit her brother Aidan, fifteen-year-old Scarlett vanished into thin air. After years of false leads and dead ends, Aidan has almost given up hope. But then a woman sees a girl running for her life across a forest clearing in Northern California. She is convinced the girl is the missing Scarlett. But could it really be her?
Heading south, Aidan finds a fire-ravaged town covered in missing-teenager posters. The locals seem afraid, the sheriff won’t answer any questions and it looks like another dead end – until a chance meeting with returned local Lana gives Aidan his first clue. But as they piece together what happened, Lana and Aidan make deadly enemies. Enemies willing to do anything to silence them – and to protect the terrible truth about what is really going on in the forest…
