Going to upload the first part of the pastoral epic I've been writing for the past few weeks. This is just Spring, more to come later. This is a pretty long poem, easily the longest I've ever written.

The thing with the start of a new year is..my thoughts always turn to summer.

Its amazing how ducks getting blown over by the wind never...

Its amazing how ducks getting blown over by the wind never ceases to make me laugh. They all seem to be ok..so its morally fine to point and laugh.

"Worst of all, he had spotted those savages, huddled atop the mound, unmoving and apparently asleep, a collection of decrepit figures sprawled across the floor. The music had fallen silent, so that there was absolutely no sound whatsoever, and he could see their bodies laid out around the cathedral walls, deep in uninterrupted slumber. He grimaced at the very idea of creeping amongst them, his heart pounding at the danger, but he had come this far, to the epicentre, and there could be no turn...
