The fateful question is bestowed unto you; given just one, only one, pointless little wish, what would you inevitably decide to spend your everlasting wish on? Would indulge upon yourself and fall tragically into the pitfall of loneliness of selfishness? W
Hmmm, normally when someone asks me what I would spend my one wish on, I always say “more wishes” - so I suppose that is somewhat selfish! Realistically though, I would like to think that I would use it to help the world. It would be very difficult to sleep at night knowing I’d had the chance to make the world a better place but used it instead to wish for an endless supply of ice cream or pizza. I would use it to help the world I think. First of all, it’s just the right thing to do and if yo...

Another Question: I was wondering, do you think that it has all been done before? Do you feel that no matter what story idea or plot line or character you come up with, there will always be somebody who has already done it? Do you think there is still a ch
This is a good question - in one way I think it can be difficult to be unique. I know there are supposed to be a certain number of set plot lines (I forget the exact number…but I know it isn’t high) - and every story can be classified as being one for those plot lines. However, I think that is perhaps too general. True, almost every plot line in the broadest sense has been used, but within those narrative structures there is still plenty of room to be unique. I think that it is more to do wit...

The Travelling Circus of Lacrimosa - Sample from Act IV
Yet where to look? All those houses were entirely abandoned, the roads vacant. Unsure, he examined the upward sloping street and the chaos of the sky, until a subtle change caught his eye. Above him, something was materializing. Slowly at first, for the clouds did not alter their colour or soaring course, and then suddenly defined, clearly etched upon the tempestuous exterior of heaven, was the face of Lacrimosa. Huge, disembodied, it stared down critically upon him, seemingly vast enough in...
