Whispers come from the walls

Calling your name,

Calling you forward.

Power, mystery, draws you forward

Farther into the dark space.

The corners seem to have eyes

Watching your progress

And laughing at an unknown fate.

Ah yes - I love Oscar Wilde, one my favourite writers of all time. Prose-poetry is interesting, its definitely a style I’ll experiment with in the future!

For the person who wrote the half-poem half-story: there actually is a term! It's called prose-poetry. (creative, I know) We actually just did a whole unit on the genre in my creative writing class.

Ah prose-poetry! That sounds cool! I think I might have heard of it too..for some reason I am thinking Oscar Wilde..?
