Finishing a novel. How do you feel?

As I mentioned before, I have finally finished writing the Blue Bricks Part I. At 321 handwritten pages (nearly 100 longer than Lilith’s Tears) this has been somewhat of a long haul - not in any negative sense as I have enjoyed writing the story immensely, but a long haul nonetheless. It was made even more elongated by the fact that when I have been writing other novels in the past, I have always had more free time. Lilith’s Tears was written over the course of 4 months one summer...

You are very welcome. Another recommendation is The Dead by David Gatward although I am not so sure you will like it. The MONSTRUMOLOGIST is very GROWN UP LANGUAGE-Y AND ALL OLD FASHIONED-LIKE, set in the olden days where everyone traveled by carriages whe

I shall have a look at Dead too - easy to have a flick through on Amazon and see if it suits what I like. By the sounds of it though, you have called exactly what I like with The Monstrumologist - I love old world style stories, there is something really Romantic and fantastical about books set in periods of antiquity - especially with horror. I often feel like things are scarier, more meaningful when they are set in an old world time zone - it feels more as though it could actually have happ...

HI YEAH SO I sent you a message ages ago and you replied and I replied back but you didn't reply back back so I'm trying again 'cause I is a stalker. Sorry about that. My horror recommendation was THE MONSTRUMOLOGIST BUT RICK YANCEY. VERY GORY. The book is

Hii I didn’t get the reply to my reply at all :s I’m not blanking you honestly, sorry! Tumblr is not so good with the messages sometimes - I think it depends on if they are sent publicly like this or privately..I’m not sure, but since private messaging got introduced I do seem to lose some! I didn’t get that one anyway, so I was wondering about your recommendation! This sounds good - I will look it up. I know someone is getting me Pet Semetary for Christmas so I shall add The Monstrumologist...

Hey... I noticed that you're a writer, like me. I've also noticed that you've got quite an audience here on Tumblr. So, I just have a request. I know you're probably hit with tons of "Share Me!" posts every day, but I'd really like to get my page out there

Hey - I can’t really do share me/promote me style posts simply because I do get a lot and I feel like it would be unfair to promote one over the others, sorry! Good luck with all your writing though :)
