Where would you like to live?

I would say Los Angeles for the sheer scale of the creative industry over there, or on a more random note, Iceland. Ever since I read His Dark Materials and in fact even before that, I’ve been fascinated by Iceland. It just feels like a really magical, mystical place and I feel like I am oddly drawn there, even if that just sounds really weird and mad. I’d like to see the aurora on a regular basis too. But having said that, there are probably tonnes of places I’d like to live - so many places...

Reading The Traveling Circus of Lacrimosa is amazing! I feel transported to a Dickens-esque era. That scene where William is outside of his father's bedroom remind me of the chill of the graveyard in Great Expectations! Absolutely fantastic!

I think it’s impossible to write about the Victorian era without being influenced by Dickens - that’s pretty much where my entire idea of the era comes from, and he’s an amazing writer so I’m very flattered by the comparison!
