Cover Love – Taste

So, I came across this book recently and just loved the cover. It was released April 29th by Crescent Moon Press. Can’t wait to read it.

Goodreads Blurb:

At Barinkoff Academy, there’s only one rule: no students on campus after curfew. Phoenix McKay soon finds out why when she is left behind at sunset. A group calling themselves night students threaten to taste her flesh until she is saved by a mysterious, alluring boy. There’s Nothing Like The Classics

It’s all about books here. There’s just something about the classics. I know now is all about the up and upcoming, but every now and then I like to pick up an oldie. I’ve only ever been disappointed once or twice reading the classics, but the majority of the time, I fall in love with the stories. I would say they are about the only romance novels I will read. I don’t usually read romance novels and have only read a few current ones – some of which have surprised me (in a good way). It’s alway...

Goodreads Review of Talisman Of El

Talisman Of El has been getting such great reviews that I thought I’d pick one out for my fellow Goodreads members to read to get a little more insight into what’s inside the book. Don’t worry, the review doesn’t give the story away. Enjoy!

THERE WILL BE NO STONE LEFT UN-TURNED!

When first reading this title, I was sceptical, as I am not an avid reader of young adult books. The title, Talisman Of El, created several initial ideas in my mind. I imagined a very stuffy, old-fashioned story with a...

1. Where did the idea for Talisman of El come from?

Well, to be honest, I have no idea where the story came from. It sort of just happened – just popped into my head. I thank my lucky stars every day. It started with just the character of Charlie Blake. He appeared to me as a young orphan who had a story to tell, and we just took it from there. There have been tw...

Cover Love – The Strange Case of Finley Jayne

The Strange Case of Finley Jayne 731x1024 Cover Love The Strange Case of Finley Jayne

They say you should never judge a book by its cover, but sometime I just can’t help it. Seeing this book cover makes me want to read the book, so I guess I better grab a copy and get started. This is a prequel to the Steampunk Chronicles.

Goodreads Synopsis:

Finley Jayne knows she’s not ‘normal’. Normal girls don’t lose time, or have something inside them that makes them capable of remarkably violent things. Her behavior has already cost her one job, so when she’s offered the lofty position of...
