To celebrate, A Very Austen Christmas: Austen Anthologies, Book 1 is on sale for 99 cents through the end of December.

My story in the new anthology, I Dream of You, is considerably lighter and more romantic than my offering in A Very Austen Christmas. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of it.

A Twelve Day Christmas Party!
The Christian Women Writer's Club, along with the Christian Indie Authors Network, is hosting a Facebook Christmas Party December 10th through 21st.

You could win a Kindle, a $250 Amazon gift card, or multiple books. This is a HUGE party involving many, many fine authors who write books from a Christian worldview.

I'm giving away five ebook copies of Accidentally Yours, and Understanding Elizabeth will be 99 cents from December 10th through December 17th. If you win one of my games, you could have your choice of my books.

I'm hosting tomorrow (Monday) from noon until 3 PM. Please stop by to chat, play, meet new readers and authors, and have fun. You could easily be a winner!
All of the other authors are offering free or discounted paperbacks and ebooks, as well.
Here's the link to the party.
I hope to see you there!

You're Invited!
We're all busy at this time of year - decorating, buying gifts, going to seasonal events, cooking, shopping, participating in Christmas programs, and so many other things.

How would you like to attend a party on your phone, laptop, or other device? Sitting on your couch in your PJs, sipping your hot chocolate, playing word games, and winning prizes? Sounds good to me!
Consider yourself invited to such an event.
Saturday, December 8, I'll be hosting from 11:00 - 11:30 on a Facebook Christmas party along with more than forty other authors of clean books. I'll be giving away a prize package of the three books pictured, as well as a copy of A Very Austen Christmas: Austen Anthologies, Book 1, and a reader's choice of my other books.

You are invited to the entire party, of course, not just the time I'm hosting. It starts at noon today and goes through Sunday. There's a link to the party on my Facebook wall.
So come, play fun games with me, chat with the authors, and WIN! You could win an Amazon gift card and buy a present for yourself. Sounds good to me.

New Covers!
I have long wished to rebrand my first six books by having professional, new covers. I commissioned new covers for The Guardian Trilogy a few months ago, and I couldn't be more pleased with the new look. I made the original covers myself, and I had never been truly satisfied with them. Xander deserved the cover picture, and now he has it. All is right in the angel world.
Once I saw the difference in the way my Guardian books looked, I had to do the same for my Yours by Design series. I know I really should wait until I have all three covers done before I reveal the new cover for Accidentally Yours: Yours by Design, Book 1 . However, I am an impatient woman, and the new cover is just too beautiful to hide for several more weeks. The new cover for the second book, Sincerely Yours: Yours by Design, Book 2 is already finished. I'm simply waiting for the final files. My designer just told me she'd send them this weekend.

I am way beyond excited!
Isn't that cover lovely? Both photos are of my younger daughter. The modern photos were made by Trevor Sullivan during her senior year of college, six years ago. Anna Beckham did the Regency photoshoot with Melanie in August at Rosewood on Country Club, a venue in Lancaster, South Carolina. Jennifer McCoy sewed the costumes - quite amazing since she lives in Texas, and we did everything through messaging.
Shoutout to Laura Hile. She inspired me by rebranding her Mercy's Embrace series. In fact, her foray into professional covers when she published Darcy by Any Other Name convinced me to hire professional designers for Understanding Elizabeth and A Very Austen Christmas.
Go big, or go home. Right?

FREE ebook of Guardian!
Guardian, Book 1 of The Guardian Trilogy is FREE today through October 17.
Don't miss your chance to read this paranormal romance which received 31 reviews and a 4.8 star rating on Amazon. Get your FREE ebook of Guardian HERE.

"Oh. My. Word. This was not what I had expected! This is an amazing story; I was fascinated to see how the spiritual world might be at work around us.It's interesting to see the spiritual warfare that goes on in a person's life unseen by human eyes." - Candy Morton, Indie Jane
"An inspiring Pride and Prejudice adaptation, Guardian is a moving story with a perfect balance of depth and humor." - Jakki Leatherberry, Leatherbound Reviews
"What an awe-inspiring and uplifting novel! It is hard for me to decide which I loved more: the Christian inspiration and faith that is reverently portrayed in this novel or the achingly beautiful romance! With scripture quotes and references peppered throughout the novel, there is much to be gained (spiritually and intellectually) from reading these pages. Robin Helm is extremely well-versed in the Bible and knows exactly what verse or scripture is needed to supplement her story!
"Poor Xander (Chief of All Guardian Angels) struggles with his new-found feelings of love, jealousy, and rage - especially when Elizabeth (his charge) becomes old enough to date teenage boys! I loved witnessing Xander lose his temper, betray his feelings, and fight his growing attachment to Elizabeth. As an angel, he knows he can have no relationship with her and he believes it would be a sin against God for him to love her.
"Be prepared to be deeply moved by this riveting and radiant novel! And might I suggest having your credit card handy, because upon finishing Guardian, you are going to experience an all-consuming desire to start Soulfire! I can hardly wait to see what happens next between Elizabeth, Xander, and Wickham!"

My Excellent Summer Adventures
Do not be cast down, gentle readers, if your children are growing like weeds and preparing to leave the familial nest, for I have found that traveling to see them is a very enjoyable thing. And, if you are fortunate, they shall visit you as well.
This past summer was the busiest I can remember since my daughters moved away.
My elder daughter and her family (my grandchildren!) came to see us in June. They went to Vacation Bible School, took swimming lessons from my sister Layne, and helped me out with a photo shoot at my sister Gayle's pool.
During that time, I flew to Detroit for a few days with my younger daughter.
Their visit ended with a cookout and pool party at Gayle's.

Larry and I went with our choir to sing the National Anthem at a Charlotte Knights minor league baseball game. It rained for three hours while we waited to sing, but we had a grand time.
A few weeks after that, we hit the road for a trip to Detroit to visit our daughter and son-in-law. While we were there, we visited my husband's family (for the first time in fifteen years), went to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum, strolled around Plymouth, and attended a Detroit Lions pre-season game (my first NFL game!).
Larry and I first went to museum and village on our honeymoon, forty-two years ago, so my daughter took a commemorative picture for us.

Our daughter returned home with us, and we had a fabulous photo shoot for my book covers. She was my cover girl for Understanding Elizabeth, and I love that cover!
