The Finale of THE SEVEN: THE LABYRINTH, BOOK ONE
The woman, the boy, and the cat were the last living things beneath the city of the dead. On January 3rd, 2015, that sentence — which was an intentional follow-up to CITY OF THE DEAD — began a serialized novel called THE SEVEN (the first book in a heptalogy called THE LABYRINTH), which was featured for one dollar per month on a then-new website called Patreon. Here we are three years later and Patreon now accounts for roughly 49% of my annual income, and THE SEVEN is finished. The last chapter was posted today. Along the way, long-time readers have …

Also, artist Glenn Chadbourne has done something very special for this year’s Merrimack Valley Halloween Book Festival 2018. He’s ZOMBIFIED nine of the authors who will be in attendance — including myself — and he is creating a 100-copy limited edition poster with all nine paintings, suitable for …

Before and After: A State of the Keene Address
After the deaths of J.F. Gonzalez and Tom Piccirilli, it’s no secret I had what the old timers used to call a “nervous breakdown”. But I don’t call it that. I call it “drinking my way to the bottom of a whiskey bottle and staying there for over a year, and sinking into a very real and very heavy depression.” I say it’s no secret because I wrote a book about it. That book is called END OF THE ROAD and you can preorder it right here. Eventually, I sobered up, clawed my way out of that depression, and even …

Statement On Nocturnal Readers Box Subscription Service
(Being a permutation of a comment I left on Goodreads earlier this evening): I would like to add my voice to all that’s being said on social media, private and public forums and elsewhere regarding allegations that Nocturnal Readers Box is not shipping merchandise, not issuing refunds, disputing refunds, and belittling and harassing dissatisfied customers. I would also like to offer my sympathy to any fans of mine that may have been under the impression that I somehow “endorsed” this company or was working with them. On March 5, 2018 I received an email from Vincent Guerrero of The Nocturnal …
