AuthorCon II Vendor Tables

UPDATE: Vendor tables sold out in 33 minutes. There will be a second wave of vendor tables announced in the coming days. Thank you.

Original Post:

Vendor tables for AuthorCon II (a Scares That Care event) taking place March 31 - April 2, 2023, are now available.

Click here to purchase your table.

 A few points of note:

1) Once you have purchased your table, Joe Ripple of Scares That Care will contact you with the code to reserve your room at the hotel.

2)As our table pricing is still very low, there is to be no sharing of tables. Each vendor/author must purchase their own table.

3) A lot of requests at the last charity event were made to be put next to another author, due to co-writing, anthologies and other partnered works. It is requested and recommended that authors who wish this for the next event, purchase their tables as close together in time as possible. Tables will not be held.

4) Tables with wall space are available until such time as those tables run out.

5) Should vendor tables run out, two things will happen. First, we will look at expansion of the event space. A waiting list also will be established.

6) Life happens. We know this. In all accounts, we are a charity. If you do need to cancel a vendors table for whatever reason, we will make every attempt to find another vendor. Only if we are able to find a vendor to take the table, will you then get a refund. PLEASE NOTE - NO REFUNDS ON CANCELED TABLES WILL BE GIVEN ONE MONTH BEFORE THE EVENT.

7) Brian Keene is taking care of all scheduling of readings, panels, classes and related events. Logistics questions can come to Joe Ripple, but author related questions should be directed to him.

The Cage at Cannes

You might remember that the feature film adaptation of THE CAGE has been stuck in development hell now for several years. It looks like that may soon be changing. We are happy to announce that THE CAGE is set to present at this year’s Cannes to raise financing. Here is an article with more information. Paul Campion )THE DEVIL’S ROCK, THE NAUGHTY LIST) is attached to direct, which I’m very happy about.

THINGS LEFT BEHIND
by Brian Keene and Mary SanGiovanni

In their first book-length collaboration, Grandmaster Award winner Brian Keene and Bram Stoker Award nominee Mary SanGiovanni take readers on a road trip across horror fiction’s vast landscape, incorporating the quiet, the cosmic, the supernatural, the surreal, and the splatter. From a basement in Baltimore where a writer uncovers a gruesome secret that threatens to rip his world apart, to the golden shores of San Francisco where a young widow discovers she still has more to lose, stretches a trail of THINGS LEFT BEHIND.

Year of the Bastard

An update on the Bastards Trilogy.

The first two books in the series — KING OF THE BASTARDS and THRONE OF THE BASTARDS — are available in paperback, eBook, and audiobook here.

The third book in the trilogy, CURSE OF THE BASTARDS, will be available in paperback, eBook and audiobook this summer from Apex Publications. (The hardcover was previously published by Thunderstorm Books).

And while CURSE is the last book in the trilogy, it’s not the last of Rogan. Shrews just released a brand-new solo novel chronicling Rogan’s younger days called KILLER OF GIANTS. I wrote the Introduction for it. It is currently available in paperback and for Kindle here.
