The Seven: The Labyrinth Book 1 Pre-Orders Begin 6/13
The signed, limited edition hardcover of THE SEVEN: THE LABYRINTH Book 1 will go up for pre-order on June 13th (approximately three weeks from now). The cover is by Daniel Baldwin. The signature sheet art is by Chris Enterline. Due to the fact that this is a long-awaited and highly anticipated book amongst my readership, we expect it to sell out very fast. To make sure people who want copies can get them, the publisher will set the print run based on the number of pre-orders received within a short time frame. The best way to not miss out is to subscribe to the Thunderstorm Books newsletter, which is free, and can be found at their website.

Scares That Care VII (2021) Author Programming Update
This is an update specifically for attending celebrity authors, vendor room authors, and their fans attending the physical Scares That Care VII charity fundraising convention in Williamsburg, VA from July 30th thru August 1st 2001. This update supplants the first announcement from April 5.
As stated by our chairman emeritus Joe Ripple, Scares That Care will continue to follow all Federal, State and Local guidance. As that stands today, we are requesting that all attendees wear a mask in consideration of their fellow attendees.
In addition to the costume contest and the silent auction, the Board of Directors and our volunteers have also safely devised a way to bring back some of the other programming, as well. This includes a slate of author programming (by popular request).
As things currently stand today, just like in the other areas of the convention, we are requesting that all attendees wear a mask in consideration of their fellow attendees when they are in the panel room where author events will be held. No decision has been made on which room that will be. That determination will be made in accordance with Federal, State and Local guidance closer to the convention. Author programming may take place in the room it normally occurs in, or it may take place in a different room. There may be a capacity limit on the room. Again, this is a fluid situation, and with your safety and the safety of our other attendees in mind, we will decide accordingly.
The room may be disinfected with Lysol disinfectant spray in between each program event, if that falls under Federal, State and Local guidance. Those sensitive to disinfectant spray should consider this before entering.
Here is a rough draft of the author programming schedule. It may be the final draft. It may not.

Panelists Ronald Kelly, Jeff Strand, Jonathan Janz, Hunter Shea, and Lynne Hansen (moderator) discuss what it was like to live through those times, and how they survived to scare again.

2021 Signing Appearances
Given that all members of my family, including my youngest son, are now vaccinated, it’s time to head back out on the road again. However, given the fluidity of the now-waning pandemic, I’m not going all in for any extensive, cross-country signing tour. (If you miss me doing that, just read the number one bestelling, Bram Stoker Award nominated END OF THE ROAD, and it will be like you’re on a nationwide tour with me). Also, given the toll the pandemic has had on people, I’m going to stay close to home so that I can be better available for my family members, should they need me.
So, with that in mind, here is where you can get me to sign your books for the rest of this year:
WHAT: Scares That Care Weekend VII
WHEN: July 30th through August 1st
WHERE: Doubletree by Hilton, Williamsburg, VA
DETAILS: As I serve on the Board of Directors for Scares That Care, you won’t find me behind a table, signing autographs. However, I will be in that room, monitoring operations, and am very happy to sign your books and take a photo with you. Just ask! Also in attendance will be Ronald Kelly, Gabino Iglesias, Jonathan Janz, Wesley Southard, Kristopher Triana, Adam Cesare, Matt Serafini, Stephen Kozeniewski, Hunter Shea, Scott Cole, and many more.
WHAT: Creature Feature Weekend
WHEN: August 27th through August 29th
WHERE: Wyndham Gettysburg, 95 Presidential Cir, Gettysburg, PA 17325
DETAILS: I’ll be signing books all weekend. I’ll also have books for sale, should you need to complete your collection. Also in attendance will be Mary SanGiovanni, Somer Canon, Wesley Southard, Stephen Kozeniewski, Kristopher Triana, Wile E. Young, and John Urbancik, and many more.
WHAT: Harrisburg Comic and Pop Con
WHEN: September 18th and 19th
WHERE: Harrisburg Mall, 501 Paxton St., Harrisburg, PA 17111
DETAILS: I’ll be signing books all weekend. I’ll also have books for sale, should you need to complete your collection. Also in attendance will be Mary SanGiovanni, Somer Canon, Wesley Southard, Stephen Kozeniewski, and many more.
I hope to see you at one of these, if you can make it.
