POETRY COMICS is out today! My new book is 96 pages of visual poetry on the seasons and the self. I hope it inspires you to go outside, marvel at the world around you, then write and draw about it.
Huge thanks to my editor Ariel Richardson for her guidance and enthusiasm throughout the making of the book, to my art director Jennifer Tolo Pierce for creating the fantastic custom font and putting up with my crooked panel borders, and to the rest of the team at Chronicle Books for making this book special. And thanks to my family for giving me so many ideas for the comics, from raising a tadpole to picking the perfect pumpkin.
