The hardcovers are finally here! I am proud to offer these special edition covers, which differ from the ebook and paperback. Take a look!

You know how I love a good cover reveal! And I am excited to bring more books to the Black Arrowhead series. It feels great to get back into writing paranormal romance, and I will be equally excited when I start writing more urban fantasy. I just love these two genres, and there is so much overlap that I really feel like the way I write these books, fans of one can equally enjoy the other. Mageri Paperback makeover
I recently took a look at the Mageri series covers, which are now some 10+ years old. I'm speaking specifically of the paperback version, which I left as the original covers. (ebook and hardcovers have new branding)
Without making any huge changes to the branding or overall look, I decided to give them a makeover. I redid the back cover, spine, and front covers to brighten, colorize, clean up, and in some cases... enhance. My goal was to make sure no one's partial collection was significantly disrupted with all-new cover styles. No changes were made to RISK or THE GIFT.
Apologies for my not-so-great photography. Someday I will learn to take Instagram-worthy pictures, but today is not that day. The original covers are on the left, the "enhanced" paperback covers are on the right. Please note that the alignment is perfect with the author name and symbols; the end books are slightly off center since they are sitting on a bookend.
As you can see, they are brighter and more colorful. The fonts have also been updated, but I kept their position the same as the original, keeping in mind that some readers are still in the process of building their collection.
Here's a comparison of the original covers (top row) with the enhanced covers (bottom row). Cleaner fonts, shinier, and a few tweaks. The choice in updating the model's face on Shine had to do with the overuse of that particular stock image. And Impulse, I always wanted Logan on the covers somewhere. I realize readers like to imagine characters in their heads, but I can't put stick figures on my covers, so here we are. ;-)
I also updated the interior formatting to include a current list of all my books, a new title page, text bubbles for text messages, and chapter header images.
