GREAT NEW COVERS!!!!
Magan Vernon has just revealed new covers for her novels. And they are STUNNING!!
Check them out!!! Then read what Magan has to say about her decision.

From Magan:
Now don't get me wrong, I LOVED my original covers for How to Date an Alien and How to Break up with an Alien, but to some people it was giving off the impression that it was a cutesy MG book.
If you still loved my original covers, the beautiful designs by CA Marshall will still grace my paperbacks. To up the stakes and grace my covers with a hot alien boy, I enlisted the help of the awesome Steven Novak who has designed covers for Rashelle Workman, Megg Jensen, and Angela Carlie.
He understood my vision and my NEED for Ace to have guyliner on the covers. These new covers will be uploaded to Amazon ASAP so hopefully the rest of the world can understand the hotness of aliens.
What do you think of the new covers?
Have you hopped over to Amazon yet and picked up How to Date an Alien for FREE?

My Body Fell Off!
by B.J. Rowley
Imagine going to bed one night and suddenly finding
yourself floating around on the ceiling—looking down at your own sleeping
body!
Imagine being able to leave your body anytime you
want, and passing invisible through walls and doors—and even
people!
Imagine transporting yourself to your friends' houses
in the blink of an eye—without them even knowing! Or floating right
into movies and concerts for free! Or enjoying the Super Bowl on the fifty
yard line—right behind the quarterback!
Then, imagine finding yourself inadvertently and
invisibly witnessing a secret meeting of some of the most dangerous criminals
of our time as they plot a multi-million dollar conspiracy involving blackmail,
kidnapping, and murder!
Bart Elderberry experiences all this and more after
becoming the recipient of a very unique and special God-given ability. Bart is just beginning to enjoy
the excitement of high school, driving, and dating, when his whole world
is turned upside down by the bizarre events transpiring around him. And suddenly,
his unusual ability is the only thing standing between life and death for
himself and his friends.
Now…imagine trying to explain to ANYBODY about
your rare skills and abilities without them thinking you're as crazy as a
three-dollar bill and throwing you in the loony-bin for life.
My Body Fell Off! delivers a
fast-paced, heart-pounding adventure that will leave you gasping at every
turn. An adventure that, once begun, will be impossible to put aside until
its final, dramatic conclusion.

Octavion - The Movie Version
Last week I had a contest on my Facebook Fan Page asking fans to post a photo of the actor they'd like to see portray Octavion in the movie version of BOUND or BROKEN. Here are the entries (in no particular order).
Maribel's Choice
Kellan Lutz
Kelli's Choice
Liam Hemsworth
Michelle's Choice
Mark Salling
Alicia's Choice
Robbie Amell
Sarah's Choice
Austin Stowell
Tina's Choice
Ben Barnes
Honestly, I think any of these would do a fine job, but my personal favorite is Kellan Lutz. Why? Well, because of the dimples, of course.
So now on with choosing the winner of the drawing. I put everyone's name in a bowl and had my son choose the winner. The person winning the $10 gift card for Amazon.com is . . .
MICHELLE
I will contact you through your Facebook page with info on how to claim your prize.
So, who would you choose to play the part of Octavion? One of these or someone different?

Belated Celebration!
This just in from Author,
ANGELA CARLIE!!!!
Dream Smashers celebrated her first birthday in March all alone. I'm a horrible book parent and didn't even throw her a party. To make up for it, I gave her a facelift. I hope she likes it. And I hope her readers like it, too.
Take a look. Isn't she pretty?
Dream Smashers has needed a new cover for a while now. It's an important story, but often gets overlooked. The original cover, which I love, wasn't sitting well with the readers. It even was nominated for a most ugly cover list over on Goodreads. The second cover was an experiment, something I whipped up myself, and not very professional. I believe this new cover captures the emotion of the story, but also has appeal for the readers. I adore it!
About Dream Smashers:
Letting go is hard to do, but sometimes, it's all you can do.
Sixteen-year-old Autumn is a human heartache. Everywhere she turns people are stomping on her hopes and dreams. Her mom's a tweaker. She's lived with her chain-smoking grandmother for as long as she can remember. Even her best friend has issues. Autumn seems to be the only responsible person she knows and she's sick of putting up with it all.
When she meets Evan, a hot guy without a worry in the world, she can only wonder if he's for real or just another Dream Smasher.
A girl who no longer wants to care and a boy who cares enough for the both of them. Dream Smashers is a love story, but most of all, it's about letting go.
Thanks to my good friend, Megg Jensen, for inspiring me to get 'er done, and RaShelle Workman who referred Megg who then referred me to the cover artisan Steven Novak. Go check him out. He's awesome.
Dream Smashers is available on Amazon Kindle and wherever else eBooks are sold. It may take a day or two for the new version to be available.
So tell me, do you like it?

Fan Friday (a little late)
Welcome to my first
FAN FRIDAY
(on Saturday because I'm a space cadet and forgot to post this yesterday)
Fan Friday is exactly what it sounds like, a little something for my fans and the fans of The Crystor Series or other writing projects I happen to publish in the future.
I'll post things about the books, characters, scenes and other secrets not revealed in the books.
I will also ask fans to contribute from time to time, giving them a chance to let me know what they think or what they'd like to read here. This is one of those times . . .
TODAY - We talk about
Octavion.
For the past two days, I've asked fans on my Facebook Fan Page to post a photo of an actor they'd like to play Octavion in the movie versions of BOUND and BROKEN. I've had a great response, but would love to have more.
So start searching the web for the perfect actor to portray Octavion and post it on my Fan Page, HERE!!
Everyone who does will be entered into a drawing to win this . . .
Be sure to LIKE that page while you're there so you can stay up to date on everything Crystor.
Drawing ends at midnight (MST) Sunday the 8th, so hurry.
I'll announce the winner here on Monday and post all the pics, then let you know which one I like the best.
GOOD LUCK!!!

INDIEpendence Day
I'm a proud member of the INDELIBLES, a group of 25 Indie and small press authors who strive to create the best quality stories for our target market of readers. This week we'd like to celebrate all INDIE authors, by paying it forward. This isn't about us, but about YOU the Indie author and YOU the reader. What a great way to celebrate Indie authors!!
As my part of the celebration, I'm featuring Isabelle Santiago, who's writing goes above and beyond the rest. She's written and published several books and is such a sweet person, I just can't wait for you to get to know her better. Here's a little about her.
Isabelle
Santiago is a multi-published author who dabbles in 1950s romance,
speculative science fiction, and more recently fantasy and YA. A twenty
something dreamer who loves chocolate, romance novels, and heart
wrenching movies, Isabelle is most comfortable on stage behind a
microphone belting out her favorite karaoke tunes, or curled up in bed
with a book and a cup of cocoa on a rainy night.
Isabelle
co-runs the Free Read Fiction Journal, Tales From the Hollow Tree, with
fellow YA fantasy enthusiast, Lisa Asanuma. Their first short story
anthology, Tales From the Hollow Tree Volume 1: Stories of Enchantment and Desolation is available now.

The Guardian's Mark, Book 1 in the Guardian Circle Series
In
Zerah, Guardians of Water, Fire, Air, Earth, Life and Death are chosen
by The Beings to serve their people. Able to feel emotions The Beings
cannot, the six keep their world, and each other, balanced.
Guardians
live and die together, but when Kieran is born with marks that prove he
is the Guardian of Death, his mother risks her life to conceal him
instead of giving him up to the Temple. When an attempt to heal him of
the burdens of the Guardianship goes horribly wrong, Kieran is suddenly
brought to the attention of the High Priests and forced into servitude
to a people who have shunned his very existence.
He
resents his position and all that it entails. It has cost him
everything: his freedom, his family. Expected to live and study with the
other Guardians, learn the right ways to use his power, Kieran is an
outsider among his own kind until he finds the one person who can see
the man beneath Death's mask.
Amaya,
the embodiment of Water, breaks through his bitter shell and helps him
to see that all of life is not bleak. But they've sworn a vow and love
for one another isn't part of it.
