Sometimes I feel like there are just too many things weighing on my mind at once, and I can’t control my thoughts or even my body at times.
Vic Fuentes
When I’m writing, I separate from everyone. Even my band. I push myself, and I’m alone with my thoughts. Separating from friends and comforts and family lets you think a lot deeper about subject matter. Working alone drives me a little crazy, but it makes the writing as honest as possible.
Vic Fuentes
More famous birthdays today, February 10: Chloe Grace Moretz, young and beautiful actress born in Atlanta in 1997; Emma Roberts, who played the role as Addie Singer on the series Unfabulous, born in Rhinebeck, New York in 1991; and the beautiful actress Elizabeth Banks, born in Pittsfield in 1974.
Happy birthday to all of them. Have a very nice day, dear friends.

Longmire season 5 could be more romantic. Love is in the air!
Longmire season 5. The show has announced its official dates for the Longmire Days and everybody is excited! Aren’t you? There, details about the upcoming season and the official release date will be announced. Great!

Vic and Walt in Longmire TV show
Furthermore, some of the cast and crew of the show are expected to attend the event. Remember that in the past years, Robert Taylor, Cassidy Freeman, Adam Bartley and Katee Sackhoff showed up in the event.
According to Carter Matt, the annual Longmire Days convention will be held on July 8-10 in Buffalo, Wyoming.
What do you expect from Longmire season 5? The show posted a photo of Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff) together on their Facebook page with the caption ‘What does the future hold for Walt and Vic?’ Is it a clue? Is love in the air? Probably!
Those who have read the book knows that Walt and Vic end up together, but TV series adaptations do not always stay true to the books. What will happen then? In spite of their generation gap, I think Walt and Vic could be a fantastic couple, because both are brave and share the same idea of justice.

We cannot wait to see Longmire season 5!

The Boston Cyberarts Gallery presents Fresh Media
The Boston Cyberarts Gallery is pleased to present Fresh Media 2016, an annual Dynamic Media Institute collaborative production. The Dynamic Media Institute (DMI) at Massachusetts College of Art and Design is a Master’s Program in Design made up of a diverse group of educators, computer programmers, engineers, fine artists, graphic and industrial designers. The projects and collaborative work produced by DMI students aim to explore the role of media technologies within the fields of art, design, interactivity, and communication. The main focus is on designing experiences with extreme empathy for users and participants, so the success of DMI projects rely heavily on research, user testing, and reflection. Tangible results not only provide the designers with a better understanding of the projects, but the feedback also aids in expanding the field of interaction design as a whole.

Fresh Media 2016
Emphasizing thought-provoking technology issues which affect so many of our lives, the experience of Fresh Media 2016 is far from the framework of a standard, non-interactive gallery exhibition. This hands-on gallery event encourages playful participation, whether it is interacting with visually pleasing projections, creating your own musical composition, or challenging your perception of social norms. Fresh Media is for experimenting, feeling, dancing, and exploring the future of communication design. Please join us for the interactive, user-focused, design phenomenon that is Fresh Media 2016!

The fast growth of yoga in the United States of America
What do you think about yoga? Have you ever practiced it? Did you feel better? Today, read this data about the fast growth of yoga in America. A very interesting subject. Don’t you think so? Tell us your opinion now!

Hindus are highly pleased with the fast and tremendous growth of yoga in the United States of America; with yoga practitioners reaching to about 37 million according to a recently released “2016 Yoga in America Study” conducted by Yoga Journal & Yoga Alliance.
Calling it a step in the positive direction, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, said that although introduced and nourished by Hinduism, yoga was a world heritage and liberation powerhouse to be utilized by all.
Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, pointed out that yoga, referred as “a living fossil” whose traces went back to around 2,000 BCE to Indus Valley civilization, was a mental and physical discipline for everybody to share and benefit from. According to Patanjali who codified it in Yoga Sutra, yoga was a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical, Zed noted.
According to USA’s National Institutes of Health; yoga may help one to feel more relaxed, be more flexible, improve posture, breathe deeply, and get rid of stress. Yoga was the repository of something basic in the human soul and psyche, Rajan Zed added.
This comprehensive national Study points out that there is about 50 percent increase in the number of yoga practitioners in the last four years; raising the annual practitioner spending on yoga classes, clothing, equipment, and accessories to $16 billion.
The Study also indicates that 86 percent of practitioners self-report having a strong sense of mental clarity and 79 percent give back to their communities—significantly higher rates than among non-practitioners. Among all Americans; 34% (over 80 million) say they are likely to try yoga for the first time in the next 12 months, 28% have participated in a yoga class at some point in their lives, 90% are aware of yoga and 75% agree “yoga is good for you”. Yoga is strongly correlated with having a positive self image, Study adds.
New York exhibits. A retrospective of the Indian modernist Nasreen Mohamedi opens at The Met Breuer
New York exhibits. A retrospective of the Indian modernist Nasreen Mohamedi (1937 – 1990) will open at The Met Breuer, the new location for The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s expanding modern and contemporary art program opening to the public 18 March 2016. The exhibition is organized by The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, with the collaboration of the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi.

Nasreen Mohamedi at The Met Breuer
Nasreen Mohamedi (18 March – 5 June 2016) at The Met Breuer, New York, is by far the most comprehensive exhibition of any Indian artist in the United States. With more than 150 works by Mohamedi on display, the exhibition brings to an international audience more than three
decades of her work, comprising of her few early oil paintings, collages, drawings in ink and graphite, watercolours, and photographs. Mohamedi rarely theorized or spoke about her work but documented her internal dialogue in a form of soliloquy, in tiny personal diaries and notebooks, some of which will be on display in the exhibition. The exhibition explores the conceptual complexity and visual subtlety that made her practice unique in its time.

Nasreen Mohamedi at The Met Breuer
In the history of Indian Modernism, Mohamedi remains a distinct figure who broke away from the dominant figurative-narrative mainstream practice and became one of the outstanding artists who pioneered the trajectory of non-representational and non-objective art in India, as well as creating a body of work vital to the evolution of international modernism and abstraction.
In cultivating an interiorised vision, Mohamedi sought to reflect beyond the familiar and the known, arriving at a pristine form of abstraction quite apart from her contemporaries. The grids and geometry she leaned toward in the 1970s were not without precedent though. In the West, closer to her time, were Piet Mondrian, Barnett Newman, Kazimir Malevich and the Russian Constructivists. Closer to home were the mystical traditions of the East that relied on geometry for a symbolic manifestation of the universe and its creative force. Drawing upon this range of inspirations, Mohamedi evolved her own formal vocabulary with delicate grids using only line, and this aesthetic informed and infused the photographs she took throughout her life.
Mohamedi’s practice has garnered serious attention within India and globally only in the last fifteen years. Though admired in her lifetime, she remained enigmatic and elusive, quite the reflection of her work – a distilled oeuvre that does not lend itself to ordinary comprehension. Through her uncompromising singular pursuit, Mohamedi arrived at a harmonious melding of the rational and the poetic, the philosophical and the mystical.
Kiran Nadar, Chairperson and Founder of the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, “This is a momentous occasion for KNMA, having collaborated with two veteran institutions, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States and the Reina Sofia Museum in Spain, in bringing Nasreen Mohamedi’s individualistic/distinctive practice to the western world. The museum’s mandate is also focused on artists whose practice is yet to receive desiring attention and critical acclaim. We believe that their stories be told.”
