My favorite Alaskan librarian and purveyor of Gothic Fishing Horror Stories had a little contest awhile back, and I threw my hat into the ring, because up for grabs was some Deadman's Reach stuff!!!
Lest you wonder why this excited me so, I've posted pics above, right?
But, see…a few years back, when Mr. Tash and I were a-courtin', I encouraged him to go outside his comfort zone and take a walk on the darkly humorous side while at a coffee shop in Nashville, IN. He bought a Deadman's Reach shirt! And we love that shirt. We love it SO hard. We love it all night long. You get the picture. Now erase that picture, you dirty bird.
I was so thrilled to find my incredible winnings in the box tonight, I made Tim get out his tee and model it alongside my terrific prizes! Look at us! We haven't looked as happy since we got our sonic screwdrivers for last Halloween!
Thanks for making our night, Amy! We needed that!
OH, and lest I forget…Amy also included some wild caught salmon and sea asparagus, because, c'mon. And two of my ninjas were so curious about the sea asparagus, they tore themselves away from an X-Play (at PaxEast, no less!) episode to sample it!
Wow. I feel like we've tasted the call of the wild tonight. And it was delicious.
