BOOK REVIEW Fantasy Hers To Save by Michelle Connor
CATEGORY: FANTASY ADVENTURE
Hers to Save: Complete Series by Michelle Connor
It took me a week to complete reading this book, or should I say three books, though the reading time was the equivalent of one book, the books separated would be like reading a few novellas. In the complete series version I didn't pay attention to the chapter numbers.
Hers to Save is written very well, with a strong female lead character and a sweet development of coming of age along side an adventure to save the lands...

BOOK REVIEW : BLACK CROW BOOK TWO J.L. Weil
CATEGORY: YA PARANORMAL ROMANCE
Black Crow Book Two by J.L Weil
It took me five days to complete this book, I blame the fact that my weekend was full of hanging out with human beings instead of reading. I'll do better next time, no more humans... just imaginary book people from now on.
Black Crow surpasses it's predecessor White Raven with honed in character development and an entertaining read.
Book two Black Crow was much better than book one. All the things that bugged me about book one that p...

BOOK REVIEW : WHITE RAVEN BOOK ONE J.L. Weil
Review/ turned into rant about sex perception in young adult novels

WHITE RAVEN Book One by J.L Weil
I finished this book in exactly three days. It was a sassy, full of spunk paranormal romance story. It didn't have anything that stuck out writing wise that pulled me out of the book's story. There were only a few things I would have liked to see differently in the book which I'll explain below. But first off I really liked to see a main character full of such angs...

BOOK REVIEW - Out of Time by Loretta Livingstone
FIVE-WING REVIEW:
CATEGORY: TIME TRAVEL FANTASY
Out of Time by Loretta LivingstoneEver wonder about the people that looked upon the same spot you were looking at right now? What was it like then?
I finished the book in two days, it was a light hearted, cozy feeling time-travel story. It was very well written and the pace was on point. The characters were flushed out beautifully and the author took great care in trying to be as historically accurate as possible.
I just hope the author will invest...

Putting Lie vs Lay to Bed
Lie Vs LayGoing to put this confusing mess to bed
I really like the chart that Writer's Digest has regarding this:
Examples:
LIE: (verb) to rest, or reclinePresent: I lie there, still, waiting for her return.
Past: I lay there, still, waiting for her return.
Past participle: He had lain there, still, waiting for her return.
Present participle: I was lying there, still, waiting for her return.
