TGI Friday, y'all!
The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community. It's a great way to find new blogs that interest you. Lord knows I have.
Here are the rules to the blog hop! To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules (these rules are on the hosts sites):
· (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
· (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
· Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing on either Hosts blog. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
· Grab the button from either Host and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
· If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
· Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI.”
· If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love… and the followers.
· If you’re new to the Follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
The Question:
~ What do you hope to accomplish with your blog? Is it to one day become an author yourself, just for fun, maybe get some online attention, or maybe something very different?
Part of the reason for my blog is to meet new people, listen to their idea’s on whatever I happen to be writing, and just talk, lol.
I use my blog to help promote other author’s as often as possible. It’s a good way for my readers to find new author’s… and for me too, lol. And I also use my blog to promote myself and my books. :) I happen to love blogging.

Lust and Ice Release Date
My latest release is called Lust and Ice and is a Dark Desires novella, coming October 19th from Razor's Edge Press, a Changeling Press LLC Imprint. Yes, lol, this is one of my dark stories. :) And yes, lol, there's a HEA—of a sort. When dealing with a Prince of Hell things can get twisted. So, there's HEA... then there's this kind of HEA.
LOL.Two more novella's spin off this book and the Bad Boys Club. In Lust and Ice you'll meet Kain's friends—Hugh, Jordan, and Allen—and they're as bad as Kain. Jordan and Allen's book will be next in the series. Right now I'm stilling kicking titles around, lol, for this story.
The perfect mate for a cold-hearted human with no redeeming qualities? A prince of hell, who else?
Blurb:
They call him Ice. Kain's a spoiled rich man's son with money to burn. An endless parade of men through his bedroom has left him empty and wanting. When he and his friends meet at their usual nightclub and place bets on who'll score for the evening, Kain eyes a sexy stranger. Electricity jumps between them, and Ice decides the handsome man will be in his bed screaming out his pleasure before the night is through.
Dark and deadly desires are Asmodeus' calling cards. Those that fall to his wicked ways are doomed to an eternity of unfulfilled lust in the second level of hell. This is no man to be played with... because this is no man. He's the Prince of Lust, one of the seven princes of hell. And he's been granted the right to take a mate by his master, Lucifer. He's searched through the ages for the one that will satisfy his sinful needs, but none have made the cut.
Until now.
The Bad Boys club has picked the wrong targets this time -- hell's come to claim its own.
Excerpt:Asmodeus toyed with his straw as he glanced over the crowd on the dance floor. There were a few that caught his eye, but nothing that got his blood pumping. His appearance not only fit in at Night Moves, but called certain types to him, preferably men. For the last hundred years he had taken to seducing the males of the human race.
“Mmm, there’s something about taking a strong man and bending him to my will, having him first beg not to be fucked…” He ran a hand down his chest, drawing several pairs of eyes, and shivered. “Then later beg to be fucked.”
Frowning, he glanced over the dance floor again; he damn sure wasn’t going to get lucky sitting on his ass up here. He smoothed his hair behind his ear and a brilliant, sizable ruby stub flashed, as did the ruby in his signet ring on his left hand. He looked down at the tribal tattoo that started on his right wrist and extended up his arm. Thanks to the shirt, no one could see the tattoo snake over his shoulder and unto his neck. It also meandered down from his shoulder and covered the right side of his chest, then continued to his groin.
His dick was thick, but not overly long, and covered in small knots. There the tattoo crossed over his body and continued down his left ankle. Those that saw the tattoo in its full glory were already doomed, although they didn’t know it. Once his prey submitted to him, the end was never far behind. The fear in their eyes and the frightened begging that came from the lips of his prey as he drained them always excited him, made his orgasm much more intense.
The problem was that once he finished feeding the pleasure was gone, and loneliness bombarded him.
Now the mindless pleasure, the thrill of the hunt and his prey’s fear were no longer enough. He wanted -- Satan help him -- he wanted a mate. Someone who would belong to him ‘til the end of time. He’d made his wishes known to his lord and was granted the right to take a human, if he found one that fit his needs. So far no such human had been found, and he had looked -- extensively.
A perfectly shaped eyebrow raised above wickedly sinful eyes. Several men and women had played the game and fallen for his dark looks -- they regretted it eternally.
He was no man to be played with… because he was no man.
Shifting in his chair, his eyes landed on a group of humans across the openness of the second floor. A new mortal joined them, another male. There was a restlessness that shimmered around him that snagged Asmodeus’s attention. This one appealed to him, very much so. Even with the noise of the crowds and the thumping bass of the music, he could hear them. The longer he listened to the one named Kain, the more his dick swelled.

Choices
Two days ago, Sandler turned eighteen. Today the long awaited day had arrived, and he’d graduated high school. Finally. It had been a horrible year. His mom had been having an affair, and when his dad had found out, things turned ugly. His parents had divorced and what a mess that had been. Months passed while they fought over every little thing, called each other ghastly names and, thanks to that, all the cops knew their address from memory. The nasty atmosphere had gotten to him. He spent less and less time at home.
It was Saturday night and everyone had gathered at a bonfire. There was nothing else to do where they lived. While he was there, he’d locked his keys in his car and only realized it after everyone else had left. Alone, daylight coming soon, and afraid, he’d called Cooper for help. He called the brother he hadn’t seen in over five years. His parent had kicked Cooper out as soon as he turned eighteen because he was gay. Needless to say, he’d never told his parents he was gay also. That wasn’t the only thing he hadn’t told his parents.
He loved his brother, was inlove with him. Cooper had refused to touch him, saying Sandler was too young. But Sandler knew the feeling was mutual. He’d seen how Cooper looked at him, seen the porn videos that featured twinks that looked like him. His brother kept in touch after he left, but only to the extent of sending gift cards on holidays. Outside of that, Cooper refused to have anything to do with him. Their parents never knew what was brewing between them, and Cooper wouldn’t allow things to develop as long as Sandler was underage.
When he called Cooper tonight, he hadn’t known what else to do. No way was he calling his parents, and that was if he could find either of them. It was the weekend, after all. After Sandler explained where he was, Cooper remembered the place. All the kids through the years had hung out in that field in the middle of nowhere. It had taken Cooper close to an hour to get there since he lived in the big city and had been at work.
* * * *
Almost an hour on the dot; headlights lit up the area. A slick, midnight black chromed-out Chevy truck made its way slowly over the ruts to where Sandler waited.
“Nice,” Sandler whispered as the truck parked. His brother was doing well, it seemed, at whatever he did for a living.
The truck headlights went out, but the remains of the bonfire provided ample light. Sandler’s eyes bugged out of his head as the door opened and a leather-encased leg stepped out. What followed made his mouth go dry. Cooper wore tight leather pants, a black mesh shirt with a leather vest, and black biker boots. His wavy blond hair was shoulder length now.
“Hey Sandy.”
Sandler blushed at the old nickname. “Coop? Is that you?”
“Yeah.”
Sandler saw that Cooper wore black eyeliner on his big brown eyes, and he had a silver piercing through one eyebrow. The light from the fire showed the tats through the mesh shirt too. There were muscles that hadn’t been there before. And stubble on Cooper’s face was new too. Sandler shook his head—his brother had grown into a man. A very sexy man.
“Wow. You look… wow. Different.” Sandler watched as Cooper used some sort of tool to unlock his door.
After Cooper was done, he moved by the fire, away from Sandler. “And you look the same as always. I mean that in a positive way, little brother. To me, you were always perfect.”
“I missed you.” Sandler stepped closer. “All those years—I missed you.”
Cooper stood his ground, letting Sandler come closer. “I missed you too. All those years, I wondered if you understood I didn’t abandon you.”
“I knew why you left. The whole neighborhood knew why. Our parents screamed it loud enough when they kicked you out. But things weren’t the same after you left. I felt so alone.”
“Our parents wouldn’t have let you go with me—you were too young. Damn young. They probably would’ve called the cops on me if they thought for a second I was interested in you.” Cooper shrugged. “Back then, I couldn’t have supported you anyway. I could barely support myself. But, yeah, I felt alone without you too.”
Sandler stopped in front of Cooper, barely inches between them. “You wanted me then. I knew you did. I just knew it! And now? What about now? I’m eighteen, Cooper. Same age as you when they kicked you out. Mom and Dad can’t control what I do. Hell, they don’t care anyway—too busy with their own lives to worry about me.”
Cooper ran his hand over Sandler’s hair. “True, you’re a man now, but you know nothing about me.”
“So?” Sandler moved closer, their chests touching. “You think that matters to me? I’ve waited for you for a long time, Cooper.”
“Still.” Cooper took a card out of his wallet. “Take this week to think about what exactly you’re doing. We’re brothers, Sandler. Very few will accept us as a couple. It won’t be easy, and like I said, you know nothing about who I am now. Next Saturday night come to this address if you still want me. That will get in you immediately. Just show the card to the bouncer. After you see where I work, and what it is I do… we’ll talk. If you want to run after you see what I am, then you can. I’ll never know.”
Sunrise broke across the land.
“I’ll be waiting.” Cooper turned back to his truck. “Head home, Sandy, and think about this.”
“I don’t need to think, and I’ll be there!”
“I… hope so.”TBC. Make sure to check out the other flashers!

The Harvest-The Next Generation
Szin's Story “Oh thank God… wait. Where are we going?” Szin asked. “Onfre.” “What!” * * * * “Ti still has his place on Onfre. I’m taking you there for a few days. By the time we leave, you will be fully claimed by me in every way. I had planned to do this the easy way, but now things have changed.”
Szin began to shake. He was tied to a chair being dragged to another planet and completely at Takeo’s mercy—and it didn’t sound like Takeo was in the mood to be merciful. Takeo was part Onfre and part Ta’Narian with some good old hard-headed human qualities thrown in—and he was very, very deadly. Szin knew Takeo followed the Onfrevian ways. Szin had studied the history of the two worlds; it didn’t pay to piss off an Onfrevian male. Which he had done in spades.
“Oh God. Please Takeo, please don’t hurt me. I can’t defend myself against you. You are mad at me, aren’t you?” Tears rolled down Szin’s face. Since his hands were tied, he couldn’t do anything about them.
Hearing the fear in Szin’s voice, Takeo engaged the autopilot and turned to face him. He gently wiped the tears off Szin’s face. Szin shook like a leaf and was as white as a ghost. “I’m not going to hurt you, and I told you I wasn’t mad.”
Szin still shook, but the trembles rocking his body were slowing. “But-but you said—”
With another deep sigh, Takeo rubbed his thumb over Szin’s quivering lips. Fear was not what Takeo wanted. Not this kind of fear. “What I meant was by the time our stay is over on Onfre, there won’t be a shadow of a doubt in your mind that we were meant to be together, that there was no mistake.”
“But—”
“Szin, I love you, and you love me. I have loved you since the moment I was created. I had planned to romance you—and I still will—but with leather and restraints, not flowers and pretty words. That was what I meant.”
Szin’s eyes widened. “That’s supposed to reassure me? I’m not sure I even know what that means—or that I want to!”
“Oh, you’ll like it what I have planned. The flowers and pretty words can come later.”
Szin chewed on his bottom lip. “Do my Dabba and Dad know what you plan?”
“Well, they were aware what I would do if you ran. As far as my taking you to Onfre? No. But they will as soon as they get up. Did they know what you had planned?”
Szin ducked his head.
Takeo blew out a breath. “Szin, it’s not like I’m going to rape you. I won’t make love to you until you’re ready. But when I domake love to you, you’ll be ready… and I hope begging. But I would never, never use my strength against you. I’d never hurt you. Szin, I love you.”
Again Szin said nothing, and Takeo turned back to the controls. What Takeo didn’t tell Szin was words, or the lack thereof, could hurt just as bad as any dagger thrust in the chest. He had told Szin he loved him, and got nothing in return—twice now. That was pain. And he knew Szin loved him, the stubborn male. Why didn’t Szin understand that not saying those words back hurt him? He needed to hear Szin say it, say that he loved him. He hurt with the need to hear Szin say those words to him.
Takeo focused on their approached to the planet, going through the steps to gain clearance. He also asked that his great uncle Sazen to air out Ti’s old place and furnished some food for them for several days. Before this was all done, he would have the words he needed so desperately from Szin. Takeo began his descent to the planet.
Szin watched as they flew over the tree tops toward Ti’s tribe, wondering what kind of reception he would get. Right after they landed, Takeo turned toward Szin and placed a hypo against his neck.
“Oh shit, not aga—” Szin was unconscious before he finished the sentence. * * * *
Why was the ground bouncing like that? Szin wondered stupidly. It took him a minute to figure out he was thrown over Takeo’s shoulder like a damn sack of potatoes. On the heels of that thought came a warning from his stomach that it didn’t like this view. His stomach rumbled ominously, very clear it wasn’t happy with the current situation.
“Takeo, you need to put me down,” Szin said quickly.
Takeo swatted Szin’s ass. “You don’t give the orders here.”
Szin grimaced. That certainly hadn’t helped matters. “How’s this then? Either get me on my feet or I’m liable to throw up all down the back of you. Not kidding here.”
The world flipped and Szin found himself standing on his own two feet. His head spun from all the blood draining back down into his body and his stomach crawled up into his throat. Oh God, he was seriously going to upchuck everywhere. Wouldn’t that be a lovely introduction to Takeo’s people—barfing everywhere? Maybe he’d get lucky and get most of it on Takeo.
Damn Takeo anyway.
Takeo saw Szin turn green. Quickly he stepped to Szin and rubbed a spot his wrist. “Easy. Just breathe.” A full minute passed in silence. “You okay now?”
Relief was immediate, and Szin’s stomach settled back where it belonged. He hadn’t said anything because… okay, yeah. Stall tactic. “Yeah, much. Neat little trick, I really thought I was going to spew.”
Takeo frowned at how shaky Szin looked. Not all of it could be from stress. “What did you eat last?”
Szin rubbed his forehead. “Um… I think… yeah, icing off the birthday cakes right before I went to bed.”
Takeo wanted to shake Szin. “Do you mean to tell me that after two big slices—with loads of that homemade ice cream stuff your dad made—you were eating icing straight? Gods, Szin, no wonder you feel nauseous. You need a mate and a keeper.”
Szin glared at Takeo. Who the hell did Takeo think we was? “Right, it couldn’t have anything to do with being stunned, then injected with something to knock me out, right? No possible connection there.”
Takeo moved swiftly. He had Szin crushed against his hard body in the blink of an eye. Several Onfre stood around, staring which was something Szin hadn’t noticed in his bid to keep his stomach where it belonged. Takeo’s large hand landed quickly on Szin’s ass several times in a row.
Szin was too surprised to do more than grunt. Then Takeo kissed him, hard. Szin had barely recovered from the shock of being spanked when Takeo assaulted his mouth. Takeo’s hand fisted in his hair, holding his head still, while the other hand landed on his ass yet again. The more he struggled, the harder Takeo kissed him. Finally he stopped fighting and Takeo gentled the kiss.
Takeo raised his head just a bit and looked into Szin’s confused eyes. “I won’t allow you to fight me, Szin, especially here. I’ll explain the rest later.”
“Damn it, what’s going on? And you spanked me, just like a…”
Takeo’s gaze landed on Sazen, who was watching their interaction with curiosity. “Hush. This is not the time,” Takeo whispered to Szin and kissed him gently. “Just trust me.”
“You keep saying that,” Szin muttered as he turned to face the Onfre male standing off to his right.
“Welcome,” Sazen said when Takeo turned to him. “Ti’s place is ready for you.”
Then Sazen looked at Szin. “Szin, I know both your dabba and dad. May I say how proud I am to have you join my family? Both of your parents are strong, worthy males. And Szin, when I say strong I don’t necessarily mean strength of body either.”
The Onfre males mumbled their agreement, but Szin noticed one Onfre male stared at him, his red eyes unblinking as Sazen and the crowd disbursed.
“Come.” Takeo pulled Szin along with him. “It’s time.”
“Time for what?”
“Time to start the mating ritual.”TBC

Seven Things About Me
I was tagged by Tali Spencer and Michael Rupured for this meme, so feel free to hop over to their blogs to complain if I bury y'all in information lol.
1) I collect carnival glass. I have the stuff above my cabinets in the kitchen, curio cabinets are stuffed full, and more glass sitting out around the house. I've got a ton of this stuff, and own several different colors. My mom and I used to collect carnival glass, so now I have all her stuff too! It's taking over lol.
2) My favorite food, or so I've been told, is candy corn. LOL. I just bought 3 bags yesterday. o.0 I would have to say that my favorite food is streak and potatoes. 3) I drink waaaaaay too much Coke. Okay, that's probably not a secret. :)
4.) I always drink with a straw. Always. After I had back surgery I ended up with a horrible gag reflex. I mean a serious one. I can choke myself by just breathing. It's sad, really.
5) My favorite color is red. Even my car is red lol. 6) I hate bugs. Hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em. When I taught, I had to check for lice on Fridays. After I was done I'd spend a good ten minutes in the teacher lounge bathroom washing my hands raw. The only good bug is a dead bug. *shudder*
7) I drive like a bat out of hell lol. Which is kinda funny since I live in a *very* small town. You're not getting anywhere quick around here. My dad taught me to drive--my dad the WW2 vet and MP. Yeah, NASCAR drivers have nothing on me. Oh, and I taught both kiddo's how to drive lol. So, there ya go! Here are the seven I tagged: LM Somerton Amylea Lyn Julie Lynn Hayes Cyn Vamp Writer Elyabeth M. VaLey Chris T. Kat

~Q: What is the BIGGEST word you've seen used in a book lately - that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too.~
Parthenogensis. The word parthenogenesis comes from the Greek παρθένος, parthenos, meaning "virgin", and γένεσις, genesis, meaning "birth". It is a form of asexual reproduction where growth and development of embryos occur without fertilization.
I found the word in a friends Wednesday Brief flash story last week lol, and had to look it up. Of course, after I read the meaning I knew exactly what it meant and how it tied into her flash story!

Guest blogger Alicia Nordwell
Hey everyone! Today I have Alicia Nordwell with me talking about her book Pricolici which will be released by Romance First September 28th at Amazon, ARe and Smashwords. 1. When did you first consider yourself a writer?I’m a writer? Really? Seriously, I’ll always consider myself a reader. It is really hard to put that label to myself, simply because I don’t feel I have that drive to be a ‘writer’ like so many of my favorite authors, or even my friends that write. It’s a great hobby, and I’ve been incredibly lucky to have a story picked up by Romance First Publishing, but I’m just not ready to be so bold as to claim such honors, lol.
2. Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?Staying awake! Seriously, there is something about writing that makes me sleepy. I’ve found the middle of the afternoon is my best time, unlike a lot of other authors I’ve talked to that like to write in the morning or evening. Sometimes a story is so gripping I can’t help but write it at any moment available to me, though it all just depends on what’s going on in my mind. I do edit best in the morning though. 3. Do your characters try to make like bunnies and create ever more convoluted plots for you? Or do you have to coax them out of your characters? I’m always trying to figure out how to find the time to write new stories! Even when I write a short I end up with ideas on how to expand the story, and readers who are asking me to, it seems. If I had the time to write all the plot bunnies I’ve written up in note form and saved on my computer, I’d not be able to do anything else!

4. So how did you come up with your idea for your story? I’d been reading shifter stories (I love them) and I was also researching ancient cultures. I had the idea to mix the two, since I love mixing reality and fantasy. Ancient cultures are often full of great mythos, and I found some interesting Dacian ones that inspired me.
5. What is your favorite part of the Pricolici? All the little bits of actual historical information actually. I researched so that I could accurately portray the character’s appearances, artifacts, and even some of the magical details! But, if you want to find out how those turned out, you’ll have to read the book!
Story Blurb:
Forced out, Tucker was vulnerable and alone. Betrayed by his haitas, he unknowingly drove straight for Pricolici territory. Their alpha claimed him, as a hultan and his mate. Tucker didn't believe him ... at first. Facing an attack from Stelian's ancient enemy, Tucker found out what he truly was.
Powerful.
Excerpt:
Something warm slid over him and he buried his face in the soft wool that carried the spicy scent. A bit of a rumble and then he was being moved. Tucker didn’t question it as he let the gentle rocking send him back to sleep.
Hands tugging at the laces of his leather pants startled him. He was lying on a soft surface, probably the bed in his hotel room, but a dark man was hovering over him. Tucker gasped and began to squirm away.
“Stop.” The command made Tucker freeze. “I’m just getting you more comfortable to sleep.” He lay still as the hands resumed their work, tugging the laces free and then peeling the tight leather down his thighs.
A dark laugh rolled over his senses. “Well, aren’t you a kinky little lupe.”
Tucker didn’t think the voice wanted an answer. He yawned. The dream was strange, but he was too tired to try and figure it out. He’d heard the voice before, listened to it command and coax him. It made perfect sense for him to listen to it; it wasn’t real. He wanted it to be, though.
He wanted a strong lupe, one that would ravage him but keep him safe from the other dominants. He wanted an alpha like the one who kept filling his dreams. He wanted it to be real; the lustful yellow eyes and the sexy growl hovering over him.
He arched a little, his body stirring as arousal began to fill him. The sheets felt much softer than they had earlier, during his nap. He rubbed against them, enjoyed the silky glide. Maybe his dream lover would finally take him. He’d never touched him before, but he had tonight. Tucker knew the alpha could make him scream in release; he could only hope he didn’t wake anyone in the hotel if he screamed for real.
“No. I won’t claim you tonight. Go to sleep.”
Tucker whined, but the lupe just tugged blankets over him. He was already asleep and this dream wasn’t going the way he thought it should. It figured the stubborn alpha wouldn’t do what Tucker wanted him to even in his dreams.
“Sleep.”
Tucker sighed, but he couldn’t resist that command. Exhaustion overtook him again.

The Waiting Game-Part 3
“Thirty minutes to recuperate, then we start again. Is the plug still vibrating?” Mac grinned when Hal nodded his head. “Good.”
* * * *
Hal lay on the bed, pleasure ruling his body. Wave after wave washed through him as the ropes held him close. When Mac first bound him, he’d been worried he’d feel restricted—and the ropes did do that, but they also brought about a feeling of security. He could let go and trust Mac to take care of him. As they experimented, Hal found he didn’t care much for the S & M side of BDSM. A little light pain was all he could handle, and Mac hadn’t pushed him to go farther.
“Time to start.”
Hal shivered on the bed as the nipple clamps and cock ring were replaced. As soon as Mac spoke, Hal’s cock hardened completely. He heard Mac moving around the room, but couldn’t see thanks to the blindfold. What was he doing now?
“If I were you, I’d prepare myself.”
That, and the sound of something cutting through the air, was his only warning. A sharp sting on the inside of his spread thighs had him swallowing hard. The pain was by no means bad, more startling. There was edge, a bite to the pain, a warning of what could come next. The sting spread out and headed straight for his cock and his mind scrambled. What the hell was Mac wielding?
Without sight he couldn’t figure out what Mac… oh God, yes, yes, he did know what was being used. The fly swatter. This one was strictly used for their play. It was the only thing, so far, they’d found that gave him just enough pain without being too much. His cock jumped against his belly as nervousness and excitement flowed through him. Hal grunted as the muscles in his legs tightened for the next hit.
“Figured out what that was, huh, my sweet sub?”
Several more blows rained down—some were on the inside of his thighs, but a few hits were on the outside of his legs, his calves. Hal twisted in the ropes, moaning wantonly. Bits of pain mixed with the pleasure. He needed… oh, oh, yes! His body arched as another hit landed. The sweet sting circulated through him, heightening his need, before focusing on his aching cock.
“How nicely your skin reddens for me….” Mac bent down and kissed a mark. “How hard your cock is. You make me proud, Hal. So sexy in your submission.”
Hal’s hips thrust, his cock weeping his desire on his belly… frantic for relief, fighting for something… desperately fucking the air. He needed, oh God, he needed.
Mac stroked that lovely piece of meat that strained for attention. “Beautiful, just beautiful. So flushed and hard for me… wanting.”
Hal whimpered into the gag, his body going limp against the restraints… begging for what he needed.
Mac stripped off his clothes. He knew that sound—Hal was nearing the end of his control. He eased the plug out and gently blew against Hal’s twitching hole that begged to be filled with him, not silicone. He spread the lube on himself and added a bit more to Hal. No pain would be involved in this. He’d driven Hal up to aching heights; it was now time to bring him crashing down gently.
Mac pulled off the blindfold, and Hal’s shining eyes focused on him. Quickly he released the ropes and the gag. He did not, however, undo the chain holding Hal’s wrists hostage. Mac positioned himself between Hal’s legs, bent over him, and kissed his lover. Their tongues dueled, lashing together, enforcing the bond between them.
“I love you, Hal. You are mine—my one and only. My heart. Let me see your pleasure, hear it from your lips. Give it all to me.” And with that he hooked Hal’s legs over his arms and slammed inside.
“Oh! Oh…” Hal threw his head back and yelled… not from pain, but from finally being filled with what he needed… filled by his mate. “Yours!” His legs tightened around Mac’s hips, pulling Mac closer, urging him in farther. “Oh, fuck! Yes, yes…right here! Take me! Oh God, sir…”
Mac rode Hal hard, hips snapping as he pounded his lover, their eyes locked on one another. Moans and soft, startled screams filled the air as Mac made love to the other half of his soul.
“Can I—can I come?” Hal gasped as Mac repeatedly thrust inside. “Please, sir.”
“Say… my… name,” Mac growled above Hal. His body gleamed with sweat, his hair falling in his eyes. “Say it…”
“Mac,” Hal whispered, obeying the need he heard in Mac’s voice. “Fill me, love.”
“Oh, fuck.” Mac threw his head back, teeth gritted. “Come!”
Bodies moving, writhing—sliding against each other as pleasure rushed forth claiming them—both men came together in a wild chorus of sounds.
Mac was the first to recover. Easing his body down next to Hal, he petted and stroked the trembling muscles, mumbling soft, meaningless words of comfort. Tired, but happy, whimpers reached his ears as Hal lay quietly next to him.
“Mac, unchain me, please? I want to touch you.”
Mac rolled over to the bedside table, retrieved the key to the cuffs and unlocked Hal. Immediately Hal’s hands were on him, smoothing over abs, through his hair, over his face.
“Missed you,” Hal sighed.
“Missed you too, babe. And thank you. That was worth the price of being gone.” Mac held Hal close, his eyes traveling over Hal. The red marks left by the fly swatter were already fading. “I love you so much.”
Hal snuggled in closer. “Love you too. Always.”
“Always,” Mac agreed as he turned out the lights.
The end.

The Harvest-The Next Generation
Szin's story “I have to go, Takeo. This is so important to my dad.”Takeo buried the growl that threatened to break loose. “I know. We’ll talk tomorrow.”Szin turned away, making sure to keep his thoughts blank.* * * *Raiden stood at the outermost edge of the party, staring off into the shadows. Woods surrounded the area where the party was being held. Pretty outdoor party light lit the area, but the shadows waited beyond. Off to the side was where his dabba housed his flyers. Raiden waited. There, in the shadows, were two forms pressed together as one sampled than the other. Raiden shook his head—it looked like Takeo had found Szin after all. He decided to leave them alone, let them have a moment of privacy. He knew things weren’t easy between them. The he had notice his parents returning to the party with Takeo’s. Something was brewing, he could feel it. He sincerely hoped Takeo hadn’t made demands or threats concerning Szin. That could prove to be a problem, if he had. Raiden turned and walked back to the well lit area of the party. Just as he stepped on the patio he heard his dad calling for Szin. “Hey Dad, give them a few minutes,” Raiden said. “Ah, gotcha. Think they heard me?” Dale asked. “Yeah, and they’ll be… well, here they come now.” Immediately Raiden tried to read his twin. Confusion, fear, desire, relief, and a whole bunch of other emotions made a noisy brew in Szin’s head. Raiden relaxed. If Szin wasn’t blocking his thoughts then all was well. He only blocked his thoughts when he was plotting something or trying to hide something. Raiden had to admit Szin was taking this better than he thought. He watched Takeo, who watched Szin. Takeo turned to him and grinned, baring his fangs. With a quick jerk of his head, Raiden signaled all was okay. Maybe Szin knew this was meant to be and had dumped all those crazy thoughts about Takeo finding another mate. Raiden relaxed. The last thing he, or any of them, needed was for Szin to do something foolish. Takeo might only be part Onfre, but he took that side of his heritage seriously. The party wrapped up after the boys had cake and opened their gifts, another custom Dale had stated along with young showers. Everyone said goodbye, and Takeo made a point of kissing Szin in front of both sets of parents. Szin stood quietly in Takeo’s arms. Dale watched the display. One part of him was trouble, the other part relieved. Szin didn’t know about the talk they’d had with Takeo, and he wasn’t sure how Szin would react if he did know just how serious Takeo was about this. Looking around, he decided to leave the mess until morning, and talk to Szin. He found his young near the cake, eating the icing. Dale approached and put his hand on Szin’s shoulder. “Hey sweetie, you need to talk?” “Aw Dad, I’m way too old for you to be calling me that,” Szin grinned at his dad as he shoveled in the sweet icing. “Never. You’ll never be too old to be my young. I love you, Szin. Listen, I thought we could—” Szin stepped away from Dale. “I love you, too, Dad. I’m not really in the mood to talk right now, okay? Maybe tomorrow.” Dale frowned. Should he push? For that matter, should he tell Szin what Takeo had said? “Szin—” “I’m going to bed, okay. I’m tired. I’ll help you clean up in the morning, how’s that?” Giving up, Dale shrugged as Szin walked away. Morning would be there soon enough. “I’m here if you change your mind. Someone like Takeo can be a bit frightening, but trust me you couldn’t have a better mate. You care for him, don’t you?” Szin turned back. “I never said I didn’t. And I know Dad, really, I do. He’s a good male—strong, loyal, and caring. A mate to be proud of. ” “Exactly. It’s going to work out, I promise.” Szin nodded hello to Keyno as he joined them.“I hope so. Look, I’m going to bed, it’s been a long day.” Dale frowned as Szin walked back to the house. Keyno wrapped his arm around his mate and kissed his neck, watching his young leave. Dale turned in Keyno’s arm, a question on his lips, but Keyno just shook his head. “Tomorrow, love. He doesn’t want to do this tonight.” Szin walked back to the room he shared with Raiden, and prepared for another ‘talk.’ Raiden smirked as Szin sat on his bed. “I saw you two out by the flyers,” Raiden said. “Looked like things were getting pretty intense.” “Yeah, I got dragged out there.” Szin pinched the bridge of his nose. “Takeo is coming tomorrow. He's asked for our parents for their blessing to mate me." "Just because he's asked doesn't mean they'll give it. But then again, that might not be enough to stop him either. He is part Onfre." "Good Lord, what a mess. Dammit Raiden, how is it he can touch me, and I lose the ability to think?” Raiden kicked back on his bed. “And you’re supposed to be the smart one.” Szin sighed heavily. “Don’t make fun of me right now—not right now, Raiden.” Immediately contrite, Raiden sat up. “Okay, okay, you’re right and I’m sorry. He’s your mate, Szin. You know there is a bond between the two of you. There always has been, and I don't know how you can resist that need. I mean, I don’t know any other way to explain it better. Frankly, that pretty much sums it up.” “Jesus.” Szin flopped back on his bed. Raiden watched Szin for a minute. “You okay, Szin? I figured I’d have to peel you off the ceiling right about now.” “I’m just… I don’t know what I am. Overwhelmed maybe,” he threw one arm over his eyes. “This is the right thing. You know that, I know that, and he knows that. Again, neither of you is going to be happy without the other. If he thinks you’re good enough, then fuck what anyone else thinks. And as you’ve told me a million times, brains count. How many times have you thrown ‘brain’s over brawn’ in my face? Come on, Szin. Why are you letting others influence your life still?” “I know. I feel like he’s a part of me; always have actually.” Szin sighed, stood up, and started getting ready for bed. “Look, it’s late, and he said he was going to be here early tomorrow. Maybe I do need to just stop fighting this. Anyway, I need to get some rest, or I won’t be able to string two words together when he arrives. I’m going to bed. What about you?” “Yeah, me too.” Raiden shrugged as he undressed. “It going to be okay, Szin. You’re making the right decision. ‘Nite.” “I hope so. ‘Nite.” Szin got into bed, crammed the pillow up under his head, and tried to sleep. A few hours later Szin eased into Raiden’s mind. Barely skimming the surface, he tested to see if his twin was really asleep or faking it. After getting a brief glimpse of his dream Szin knew he was asleep. He got up and dressed quickly, then arranged the pillows on his bed to look like a body. Finally he covered the pillows up with his sheet. Szin slipped quietly out the bedroom door. He tip-toed through the house, barely daring to breathe. His nerves were stretched thin, and his heart was racing. Sweat beaded on his forehead and he kept expecting the light to suddenly cut on or a heavy hand to land on his shoulder—someone demanding to know what he was doing or something to happen to prevent his escape. Just a few steps closer and he was home free. He gently closed the back door, taking time to make sure it didn’t squeak, and walked quickly to where the flyers were kept. His dabba would be furious he took his fastest flyer, but Szin had no choice. It would get him to Ta’Nar the quickest. Szin slipped into the seat and engaged the flight controls. As quietly as possible he maneuvered the flyer out and started his ascent. Soon he was in the inky blackness of space. He made sure to keep his thoughts away from what he was doing just in case Raiden woke up in the middle of the night and checked on him. Thinking about anything but what he was doing was hard, and the tightness in his chest made it nearly impossible. He wouldn’t allow himself to question if this was really the right thing to do because that would be picked up if Raiden should tap into his thoughts. Tears burned his eyes, but he refused to let them fall. He was just getting ready to engage the warp engines when his flyer shook violently from a direct phase hit. Trying to keep his thoughts pleasant, he frantically checked the control panel. His engines were off-line. Before his mind had time to deal with that, a ship decloaked off to the starboard. And shit, he knew that ship. A tractor beam was engaged and secured to his ship. There was no way his shields could be activated now. Just as his hand reached for the button to engage a force field around him—his body tingled. Szin barely had time to cuss before he was transported onto the other ship. Moments later Szin was on the small bridge with a very irate Takeo, who was holding a stunner. “Shit, Takeo let me explain!” Szin threw his hands out in front of him. Jesus, he wouldn’t really stun him, would he? “Oh, you will, Szin, but not right now.” Takeo smiled and Szin felt his blood run cold. It wasn’t a nice smile, and he could see that Takeo’s fangs. “Fuck! You’re not really gonna…” Takeo fired the stunner, then moved quickly to catch Szin’s limp body. * * * * Szin opened his eyes and blinked a few times. First thing he noticed was he was tied to the co-pilot chair. Second thing he noticed was Takeo was in the pilot seat next to him. “Sumabitch!” Szin yelled. “You stunned me!” “It was on low.” Takeo stared out the viewing screen at space. Szin twisted his head around, his eyes wide. “It was on low? Did you just say it was on low? Well hell, what am I whining about then? Damn thing was low. Jesus H. Christ.” “I caught you before you hit the ground too.” “Oh well, thank you so fucking much. You stunned me andcaught me before I managed to knock myself silly.” “Szin?” “What?” Szin snapped, still glaring at Takeo. “Shut up.” Szin dropped his head back against the seat and closed his eyes. Several moments passed. “You’re really mad at me, aren’t you?” “No.” Szin eyes snapped open in surprise and he turned his head to look at Takeo. He was calm, cool, and totally collected. Szin began to sweat. “No?” Szin asked. Takeo sighed deeply. “No, I’m not mad at you. I was expecting you to do something like this—had hoped you wouldn’t—but was expecting it.” “Okay… why?” “You were just too calm. I know you, Szin. You’re incredibly smart, but you seem to have blinders on when it comes to you and me. If you had pitched a fit when I told you I planned to speak to Keyno and Dale… I would have gone home after the party, no worries. You’ve been vocal about how wrong it is for us to mate. But the way you reacted told me that very smart, though twisted, brain of yours was in overdrive. So, I waited to see what you would do.” “Dear God.” “And you ran.” “And you were waiting.” “Yah. No one is going to come between us, Szin, not even you.” “Why can't you see some force in the cosmos screwed up? You should have been paired with Raiden, not me. He’s more like you than I will ever be.” Takeo jerked his eyes off the viewing screen, stunned. “Are you completely nuts? We’re both hardcore tops, you know that. The two of us would never work. Plus, he’s as hard-headed and stubborn as me. No, you are the perfect balance to me. You’re smart and cool under pressure. Well, most times.” “Oh ha-ha.” Szin laid his head back against the seat. “Takeo, I’m really not the right mate for you. I can’t make you happy. Jesus, look at your own parents, would you? Colt’s as dangerous as Ti. I might be able to fight my way out of a wet paper bag on a good day.” Takeo snorted. “You forgot one very important thing.” Szin turned his head away from Takeo. Tears were burning his eyes from the gentleness in Takeo’s voice. “What?” “Colt is submissive to Ti. When he’s on his knees at Ti’s feet it doesn’t matter how strong, or deadly, Colt is. Szin, you’re a submissive too. Each of you have your own strengths. I don’t know why you can’t see that. And you’re going to be my submissive and my mate. Before it’s all over with, I will show you that you are the right mate for me. I want no one else.” “But…” “Tell me you don't care for me, Szin. If you can do that, then I'll take you straight home and never bother you again. And if you lie, I'll know.” Szin didn't say anything... he couldn't. His feelingfor Takeo were never the issue. “Right. Guess that answers that.” “God Takeo, what I feel for you isn't the issue and.... Holy hell, my dabba’s flyer. Oh shit, tell me you didn’t leave it floating dead in space. He’s gonna kill me!” Szin struggled against the bonds holding him. “Calm down. I contacted Raiden and told him what you’d done. We’re towing the flyer with us. It’s safe. Come morning, he’ll tell Keyno and Dale.” “Oh thank God… wait. What do you mean come morning? Where are we going?” Szin asked. “Onfre.” “What!” TBC
