Here’s the release schedule for the rest of the year:

October 1: Spooks & Specters, San DeLain Volume 1October 21: Bad Boys Club release (More coming on this. It is also a second edition)November 1: The Harvest Collection Volume 1December 1: Beyond the Darkness, #3 in the Dragons of San DeLain

Spooks & Specters is the San DeLain anthology with all the fics that were posted on Patreon first.
The Bad Boys Club is a rerelease that was originally put out through eXtasy a long time ago. It is definitely a dark paranormal romance. It's very fitting for Halloween, I think. I will be posting all three of those short stories on Patreon before the release on the 21st.
The Harvest Collection is also fics that were shown on Patreon first.
And finally, Beyond the Darkness, #3 and the end of the Dragons of San DeLain
I've started on the Gargoyles of San DeLain. And I think that's everything. There will be a Harvest Volume 2 and a San DeLain Volume 2 next year. Good Lord, I can't believe I'm talking about next year lol. Plus the three gargoyle books. After that, we'll have to see.

Teaser #1 from Along Came a Spider

“Let thegames begin.”

It tookalmost a solid hour of driving to get to the part of the city Isadora wanted, and she exited the interstate. For the last severalmiles, the appearance of this section of town had been steadily declining. Crumblingbuildings, their walls covered in garish graffiti, loomed overhead. Boarded upstorefronts lined the streets.

Thescent of decay and neglect hung heavy in the air, as trash littered thesidewalks and spilled out onto the road. A fog of desperation surrounded theplace. She almost, almost, felt sorry for what she was going to do thatnight, but she had to eat just like anyone else. At least she tried to avoidinnocents.

Three young mencircled her vehicle. Isadora guessed them to be gang members in their earlytwenties. When the banger tapped on her window, she shook her head. Grinning,he tried to open her door.

This motherfucker. So cocky. So enjoying what he thinks is my terror.

While he was doingthat, another one slowly climbed onto her hood. Isadora had to fight a scowl. He had better not dent her damn hood. She turned wide eyes to him.

He waved at her.

Asshole.

The third bangertried the back passenger door, and Isadora jerked her head around to stare athim. He pointed at the door like he thought she was stupid enough to unlock itfor him.

They’re enjoyingthis. I’ll remember that.

“Leave me alone!”Isadora cried instead. “I called the police. They’re on their way.”

The banger by thepassenger door snorted.

“Yo, ya shouldn’t bedown here either. Sucks to be you.” The one on her hood smirked, then madekissy sounds at her.

No, it’s actuallygoing to suck to be you.

A dark hunger sweptthrough her and for a second, just a split second, the fake mask of terror shewore slipped. Her vision sharpened, which meant her true nature had peekedthrough her eyes.

Teaser Tuesday

From Beyond the Darkness

THE PHONE’S screen lit up the dark room, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Its incessant ringing pierced the silence, causing Connie to bolt upright, wide awake.

“Hello?”

Connie turned to stare at Hudson who had his cell phone plastered to his ear, his face bathed in the blue light of the screen.

With his keen hearing, he could hear the sound of alarms and screams that nearly overrode the fear in Kage’s voice on the other end of the line as he spoke to Hudson.

“When?” Hudson demanded, his face twisted in concern as he spoke into the phone.

The moonlight from the window cast a shadow along his jawline, creating an intense silhouette. His hand gripped the phone tightly, his knuckles white with tension.

Kit slowly set up in bed, also staring at Hudson.

Connie closed his eyes, brow furrowed in concentration as he strained to listen to Kage’s frantic voice on the phone.

Box truck parked outside of the Dominion that was full of explosives. It was detonated. Essentially four or more city blocks were destroyed. There’s burning debris, rubble, metal, stone and everything in between. Embers is a mess, as is half the front of the building!

“Mother of all,” Kit whispered.

Thursday Book Recommendation

These are books I’ve read and really enjoyed. Most of what I talk about will probably be paranormal/scifi but not always. Although it’s rare, I do read some contemporary.

This week is: How to Flirt with a Hellhound (Hellhounds of Paradise Falls Book 1) by Shannon Mae

Blurb:

Toby

Maybe I have an overactive imagination, but the hot guy next door totally gives off serial killer vibes. Why else would he know how long it takes to bleed out from a wound? Yeah, ok, so I asked, but it was research. Being an author definitely makes for some odd questions (someone had better clear my browser history when I die, that’s all I’m saying). It’s not like I’m stalking my hot neighbor or anything—there’s nothing wrong with watching him out my window. Although I might have my own stalker (and not the cute harmless kind), which is kind of terrifying. Even if he isn’t a serial killer, maybe my seriously sexy neighbor whose eyes seem to glow red (a trick of the light, I’m sure) can help me out.

Dexter

How do you tell your cute neighbor that cutting off fingers probably won’t cause a victim to bleed out? I don’t know if trying out Toby’s writing ideas is a good method of flirting, but there’s just something about him that calls to my hellhound. He’s adorable, awkward, and all kinds of clueless. He brings out my protective instincts, and I find myself wanting to please him, even if that means figuring out some of the answers to his rather bloodthirsty questions. When I find out Toby might actually be in danger, nothing will stop my hellhound from protecting him. He’s mine, even if he doesn’t know it, and I’ll tear apart anyone who even thinks of hurting him.

Tags: Socially awkward writer and serial killer(ish) hellhound fall in love; talking about dismemberment totally counts as flirting, right?; there’s death and maiming, but only of really bad people; Dex would literally burn the world down for those he cares about; Toby is adorably clueless; hellhounds have tails, and they know how to use them.

Teaser Tuesday

THE DRIVE to San DeLain was insane like normal, but they made decent time considering it was a Saturday. Hudson tried to give his business to paranormal-owned shops, but there were still some places they visited that were human-owned.

As they walked into the first store on their list, a human-owned bedding boutique, Hudson immediately regretted his decision.

The salesclerk behind the counter, a young woman with perfectly styled hair and an air of superiority, glanced at Kit, giving him a once-over. She raised an eyebrow in disapproval at how he was dressed before turning her attention back to her phone.

Hudson was getting ready to usher his mates back out the door when calamity struck.

The salesclerk spoke up, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “Can I help you people find something?”

Hudson gritted his teeth and forced a polite smile. “We’re shopping for custom-made Egyptian sheets.”

She rolled her eyes. “Well, you won’t find anything like that here.” She gave Kit another pointed look before turning back to her phone.

“Girlfriend, you have no idea the mistake you just made,” Kit said.

This week is: Leave Me Broken by Ki Brightly, M.D. Gregory

Blurb:

The Ruined Man

Reed Olsson made an unforgivable mistake. He stole from the Killough Company and as a result suffers severe consequences. He’s tortured within an inch of his life, and he expects death, but instead he’s given a second chance. The only downside is that he’s handed over to Oisín, a twisted thief with a death wish. Now Reed has a chance to escape, but to do that, he must bide his time and play the game.

The Flirty Thief

Oisín Kelly can’t stand boredom. He lives on the edge of danger every day and it’s always difficult to find a man who can keep up, but then he sees Reed under the torturous hand of a Company man. Oisín wants him. Reed’s a beast, one that keeps Oisínon his toes, and he’s fun . . . for now.

Clash of Wills

Their relationship is push and pull, and neither expects the satisfying thrill of being around each other. Reed has been burned too many times, and Oisín expects Reed to falter under his chaotic demands. Instead, they find a comfortable balance that makes them both question what they have. When Oisín drags Reed out on an assignment as his backup, it’ll be the ultimate test. Will Reed run or will he stay to fight alongside Oisín?

Leave Me Broken is a standalone book in the New Gothenburg universe that is full of dark twists and turns.

Teaser Tuesday

Hudson held out his hand. “Welcome to the San DeLain Fire Court territory. I’m Hudson Redmond.”

Kayden shook Hudson’s hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty. Thank you for allowing my crew and me onto your territory. I’ve reviewed your rules with my men and women too.”

“Excellent, I appreciate that.” Hudson released Kayden’s hand. “May I introduce Sir Conrad Turner, my Right Hand, and my mate. If you should have questions or run into a problem and cannot get in touch with me? Well, Connie speaks for me.”

“That’s good to know,” Kayden said, holding out his hand to Connie. “Your king has already given me your cell phone number, Sir Conrad. It’s nice to meet you.”

“It’s nice to meet you too,” Connie said, shaking Kayden’s hand.

“I would also like to introduce you to Kit Meadows, who is also my mate, as well as Connie’s.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you too,” Kayden said, once again holding out his hand. “I had heard through the grapevine that his Majesty and Right Hand had mated a human. Congratulations to the three of you.”
