THE CRYSTAL OF MYNOS is on Kindle!
The Crystal of Mynos
I've figured it out, I've put my prequel to the Legends of Mynos series on Kindle on my own!! This book has been out forever and I've been offering it as a free read on my website in PDF for ages. That won't change.
BUT, if you have a Kindle, and you want it on your virtual bookshelf, you can buy it for $.99. I know, I couldn't offer it for free. I wanted to, but $.99 was the cheapest Amazon would let me go. So I'm not "out for your money", I just thought it might reel ...

Desert Princes of Jikkar: The Viper Prince
I'm almost finished with the first book in my new Desert Princes series. I'm almost to 50K, and this book is awesome – if I do say so myself. I started this book before I began having problems with my wrist. It stalled for a few months before I picked it back up again, and now I cannot wait to write The End on this bad boy.
Ever since I began writing novels, I've wanted to write about a sexy desert sheikh. But history didn't allow for all I wanted to do. So I decided to invent my own...

Rejections and Submissions
Well folks, THE FALL OF JERICHO has been rejected by Samhain Publishing. However, I have sent it off to Cobblestone Press, so keep your fingers crossed! Also, since Samhain no longer has a submission of mine, I sent them another; RENEGADE is there now, waiting to hear word.
Again, the waiting game. I'm really hoping they like RENEGADE at Sammy. It's such a great book. I'm 0-3 there on recent submissions, so I'm a little gunshy. But I'm going to keep pounding away at the walls of their...

I Survived My Cortisone Shot
I got my cortisone shot for my TFCC tear(s) on Friday. Went in nice and early, to save my hubby from having to take too much of the day off to watch the kids for me. So, here's the deets.
They took me to a waiting room, where the doc came in and gave me an anesthetic shot. I had to wait about 10 minutes while it worked to numb me. I thought this would be all I would get. But then the doc started talking to himself about whether to give me the local first or combine it with the...

The Never-Ending Quest for Validation
Over the past few weeks, I've been disillusioned and disappointed, disheartened and dissatisfied with myself, my writing, and my wrist. I've certainly been depressed over the health of my wrist, even though I try not to let it show too much. What does this mean for my future books? Can I write like I used to with marathon sessions? Or should I be satisfied with a few short bursts? Writing is writing, after all, no matter how much you do, right?
Aside from that, it's never easy getting a r...

It Is Official – Central and Peripheral TFCC Tear
I saw the hand surgeon today to discuss the findings of my MRI report. The doctor informed me the dye that was injected leaked out the central part of my Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex (TFCC for short) right over my distal radioulnar joint, or where the radius and ulna come together at the wrist. He mentioned that because the TFCC disk is shaped like a Certs breath mint, when there's a central tear, it won't ever heal, due to inadequate blood supply. Therefore, they don't suture it...

So Excited For My New Books!
Despite my wrist malady, I just wanted to pop on and let y'all know I'm soooo excited for my new releases! Before I injured myself in a freak W-T-F-how-the-heck-did-you-do-that?!? mystery trauma, I wrote a plethora of books last year. In case you haven't been keeping score, here's the breakdown:
RIDE THE LIGHTNING – Coming Soon from Cobblestone Press. Still don't have a release date, but it's finished editing and I have a cover now, so most likely, sometime in May, since the April schedule h...
