Texas Book Festival
I had a great time Saturday at the Texas Book Festival. Michael Merschel of the Dallas Morning News did a brief writeup here. I'm glad people seemed to think it was funny; this being my first "interview" to be done at TBF, instead of a panel, I was worried I wouldn't have many people come see me, but the room was nearly full fifteen minutes before start and we had an overflow crowd (one of my neighbors was turned away–but you know, I can talk her ear off any day). Inside the Writer's Cafe Interview
Here's an audio interview I did with Cheryl Nason, the host of Inside the Writer's Cafe. It's also available as a free download from iTunes (do a search on Inside the Writer's Cafe–the podcast with me is entitled Spies and Terrorism.) Thanks to Cheryl for interviewing me about TRUST ME.

Texas Book Festival this Saturday
This Saturday at the Texas Book Festival (held at the state capitol building), I'll have the honor of being interviewed by the brilliant Steven Saylor, historical mystery writer extraordinaire, on "The Art of the Thrill". This will be my first time doing more of an interview-style talk instead of a panel with several authors at the Festival. The session runs from 11:30 am – 12:15 pm, in Capitol Extension Room E2.014 . You can see the complete schedule here.

You can see the orange paperback edition of FEAR on a rack of books defaced by this freelance editor. Here's a news clip from Nashville:
If you don't like the language in a book — then don't read it. No one is forcing you to read it. Return the book and check out another.

The Organized Writer: Quo Vadis Scholar Planner
I've mentioned before how much I like Exaclair/Clairefontaine products. Their notebooks are superb and I use a Exacompta Journal 21 as my daily planner. Recently Karen at Exaclair offered up some of their new Equalogy "green agenda" planners for review, and she kindly sent me on of their ecologically friendly Quo Vadis Scholar Weekly Planners to test-drive.
My usual planner is a one-page-per day format; the Scholar has a week on two pages, which is nice in that it gives you a birds-eye view...
