Sen’Derrick Marks Takes Teen With Cancer To Prom

When NFL player Sen’Derrick Marks partnered with the Dreams Come True program, he had just one goal: to “do something where you actually make someone’s day, to a make a difference in someone’s life.”

Over the weekend, the defensive tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars fulfilled this promise by helping a teenager with cancer have a night she’ll likely never forget.

A team of veterans is going above the call of duty to keep young students safe.

The Safe Passage Program, founded in 2011by nonprofit Leave No Veteran Behind (LNVB), deploys vets to monitor unsafe Chicago neighborhoods as students walk to school.
