Stephen Crafti is an Australian author, design commentator and architectural historian with more than forty books to his name. Formally trained in Town Planning, he first explored design through his high fashion knitwear label, Crafti, supplying leading Australian retailers. His passion later evolved toward architecture after purchasing a 1950s Modernist home in Melbourne, inspiring him to write extensively on post-war and contemporary design. Over the past three decades, he has contributed thousands of articles on architecture, furniture, and the decorative arts to leading publications. Crafti also curates design tours, writes books, and hosts the podcast Talking Design with RMIT University.
