Dr Robert Hunter specialises in pavement design, asphalts, asphalt failures, road and highway defects: their diagnosis and correction, maintenance and construction of highways and in adjudication, claims, contract preparation, contract issues and the wonderful NEC3.

He is a recognised authority on all aspects of the behaviour of asphalts including their design, specification and behaviour in service and how and why they fail. He regularly prepares reports for Clients on asphalt failures which cover the technical and contractual ramifications.
