New Kindle Uploads for Pam and Dream Lover

The weekend is here! We have been on the road, destination San Diego, for the birth of our granddaughter. I'm still working, however.

After much feedback from readers about the editing issues of the Pam books, I made the decision to have Pam of Babylon and Dream Lover proofread, again.

Some of the problems that were missed by me and two editors were things like Jack having a heart attack on the wrong train and the misspelling of sledgehammer. Also, numerous wrong word usage and punctuation problems.

The second book in The Greektown Trilogy is now available on Amazon in the Kindle edition. The Princess of Greektown begins as Jill's weekend with Trooper Cooper is over and she heads back to Detroit and to reality. Her dad moves on with his life after twenty-five years of being alone. The rest of the family face bigger challenges, while Jill and Albert solve a murder mystery that reaches to the suburbs, again.

New Offerings

Dear readers, yesterday I published two new books to Kindle. My style of writing is to have several works going on at once, and when I get tired of one, move to the next. The outcome is that I often have two or three books come out at the same time. (When I say often, it happened twice. Sorry. I also tend to exaggerate.)

The new books are very different from each other; Alice's Summertime Adventure is a mix of middle-aged angst, family drama, marital misconduct and the aftermath of choice. I laughed out loud and sobbed as I was writing, and ARC readers have told me they are doing the same thing. The Savant of Chelsea is a psychological thriller/suspense novel. I explain in the Author's Note that it is my first attempt at writing twenty five years ago, and evolved from a children's book to this horror story. It's a relatively short novel compared to most of my books, about 60,000 words. It was edited down from twice that number. Alexandra Donicka is a gifted brain surgeon who was abused and neglected by her mother. She spends most of her adult life attempting to redeem a wrong that was done to her. When the opportunity finally arises, the disappointment in what she discovers shakes her to her core, but something wonderful is given to her in its place.
