CREATURA is Getting a Make-over!
C hange is good . I'm a strong believer that it is. That's why I'm extremely excited to announce that Creatura will be getting a new look this summer. Although I'm fond of my tree on the current edition of my book, I know that it could be better. Thank goodness for talented graphic artists like Claudia McKinney of Phatpuppy Art!
You've probably seen Claudia's beautiful work on a good number of New York Times bestsellers, including, but not limited to, On Dublin Street by Samantha Young, more than a handful of Amanda Hocking's works and most recently Kami Garcia's Red Run. With that being said, you know that the new cover for Creatura will be nothing less than phenomenal.
I've set up a sign-up page for bloggers interested in participating in the cover reveal. Although a date has not yet been set, I will email the bloggers that sign up and update the form as soon as I know the reveal date. Upcoming Creatura Blog Tour
Hiya, lovelies! So about a month ago I made this silly video for my author friend, Stacey Rourke — she had a release party and there was a lot of craziness going on with her Gryphon Series. Creatura International Giveaway on my Blog
Hiya! I've been getting a lot of requests for signed copies of Creatura, and I wish I could send one to every last one of you. But it's impossible for me to mail so many copies worldwide with the cost for shipping being so high. I can't bring myself to choose only a few people to give copies to because all of you have offered me so much support. In my mind, it just wouldn't be fair to choose one out of so many. Putting a Face on the Characters in Creatura

A lot of my fans have been asking me to post pictures of the characters in my book, Creatura. The problem with this is that in each of our minds the physical traits of each character is different. I was hesitant to put a face on my characters, but many already knew that the main character, Isis, was originally fashioned after my sister. I was advised against it, as a matter of fact. I was told it would limit me. I don't know if this will have a positive or negative effect on how anyone else sees the hero and the heroine. What I do know is that you, the fans, asked and I feel obligated to respond to your loyalty as readers by complying to your requests.

Two "Creatura" Blog Tours AND an awesome Giveaway?!
Today marks the anniversary of "Creatura's" one year in print. Also, as you might have or might have not heard, LedaBooks, the leading YA publisher in Romania, has recently acquired the foreign rights for publication. It's been a good year for Creatura, and to celebrate its one year anniversary and the foreign rights contract, there is not one but two blog tours that will be kicking off this weekend. How cool is that?!
An international blog tour, "The Lethal Book Tour", hosted by Kathryn V. Grimes and Shelley Bunnell of Tsk Tsk What to Read blog, will begin today, June 15, and run through July 9, 2012. This tour will make about 27 stops at different blogs. You'll find the link to the blog for the international Rafflecopter giveaway, along with a picture of the prizes as you read further.
The "Romanian Lethal Book Tour" is more of a scavenger hunt. The blog tour will take place, Saturday, June 16, 2012, making stops at about 16 Romanian blog sites. The tour will be hosted by Irinna, Oana and Alecsa of the very first fan blog dedicated to Creatura -- Creatura Lovers. The girls are very excited that Creatura is coming to Romania, and I share in the excitement with them.
