From an early age, Henry-Cameron Allen was steeped in world cultures and has been deeply influenced by their wisdom in his career as an artist, educator, mentor, and parent.

Surviving cancer, overcoming obesity, living with physical disabilities, and facing the unimaginable loss of his beloved 13-year-old son to brain cancer in 2008 taught him invaluable lessons in courage, empowerment, and integrity. His Assistance/Service Dog "Ánimo" is a constant source of comfort and strength, accompanying him wherever he travels. They are currently residents of Arroyomolinos, Cáceres, in the Extremadura region of Spain.

Henry-Cameron Allen answered Goodreads's question: What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book? The mystery of what happens after "death." This was the impetus for the book I wrote using Quantum Physics as a metahor for the mysteries of the grief journey.
