Serials!

Hello? You guys still there?

The latter half of 2012 was busy, crazy, andhectic. Both in very good, and in very bad ways. However, is 2013! Time for a new year. A new start. I know I’m a little late, but YOLO, right? (Note: If I ever say that again, shoot me.)

Time to announce what’s been cooking in the studio.

I know what you’re thinking. “What is this? The Visitors? Season One? Episode One? Waaaaa??????”

It basically boils down to this: The Intruders is being republished as a serial, ie.The Run...

What Have I Gotten Myself Into?

I keep clicking the refresh button, even though I know it will be a week before I get the revisions back. It hasn’t even been 24-hours yet. I’m excited, but also nervous and scared. This is the first time that I know of that the words that I have written are being sent to someone as big as this. They’re with an agent in NY to be torn apart and sent back to me, and a rejection letterisn’tfollowing.

Fifteen pages a week, send them to the agent, he tears them apart, sends it back to me, and I hav...

Cover Reveal!

So, I just realized that I never did anofficial cover reveal for the new covers for the Visitors Trilogy.

Here’s the “new” cover for The Intruders:

TheIntrudersNewCoverWhat do you guys think? Personally, I love this cover so much! The light represents the Grimms chasing them, and the scene on the cover is the scene towards the end of the book where the Grimms are chasing them through the woods.

On to the next one!

theenemycoverI really LOVE this one too! The cover of The Enemy isn’t really a scene, really, it’s more of a place....

Scratch That, Reverse It

You may remember awhile ago when I announcedPorters, the serial I was going to write about the kids with super powers. Well, I’m un-announcing that, or rather,re-announcing it. It’s kind of taken a life of it’s own, and I’m not going to stop it.

It’s now calledPowerless, and it’s what the pilot episode ofPorters was supposed to be. It’s going to be released as a stand-alone novella probably inJanuary. Before you guys freak out and are all like “Why are you writing that, when you should be writin...

Where the Heck is The Enemy?!

I know a lot of you are probably wondering this. And the answer is this: it is coming soon. I never anticipated that it would take this long to write, or else I never would’ve suggested that it’d be out sooner. Truth is, The Enemy is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever written. It’s very complex, and I’ve hit lots of roadblocks in the story. Recently, though, I’ve overcome them, and I’m back on track.

I don’t have an exact date on when it will be out, but hopefully it is by the end of the yea...

Announcing: PORTERS

Hey, guys! Today, I’m announcing my new series! The series is calledPORTERS!

PORTERSis going to be aserialized novel about a group of teenagers discovering that they have superpowers. These aren’t your goody-two shoes superheros, either. Some of them are going to be good, some evil, and some walking the line between the two. Each “episode” is going to be 10,000-20,000 words long, and are going to be releasing weekly. So it’s like the same thing I did withThe Runners, except longer, and I’m goi...

The Enemy: Chapter Four, and Some Updates

Right now, I’m going to post a chapter fromThe Enemy! It’s Chapter Four, and this is when things kick into high gear. And let me tell you, it’s at least ten chapters before things finally start to slow down again. It’s one heck of a ride! I can not wait for you guys to get your hands onto the final product, which I am workingveryhard on. I’m waking up early every morning, going to McDonald’s/the library to write, and not stopping until around lunch time. It’s hard, but let me tell you, I love...

The Intruders Free Test: Part One

Right now, I’m running a test. The Intrudersis currently free on Amazon (click HERE to download). The whole “test” is that I’m doing ZERO promotion except for a post on Facebook, Twitter, and this blog, and I’m going to see how many downloads I can get off word-of-mouth alone. So far, it’s going great! I’m going to update this post Friday when the promotion is over to let you guys know how it went, and also explain what part two of the experiment is. Tell all your friends!

Sorry!

Sorry I haven’t updated the blog recently!

More importantly, I’m so sorry that I didn’t meet the release date forThe Enemy, which was September 25th. This book turned out to be bigger than I expected, and I’m having to re-evaluate the direction I was going with the story. Don’t worry, though! The book will be out by the end of the year. It’s going to totally be worth the wait, I promise! I’m also hoping to get The Runners Anthology out by the end of the year as well! I’m not setting any dates,...
