If some…moreI worked as a ghostwriter for years before I began writing my own novels, and it gave me the discipline to write from 9am - 2pm every weekday.

If something isn't working, there are usually two reasons for me: the characters have outgrown the plot, in which case I need to revise my outline and rewrite some scenes; or I need to work on another project, and I usually have a few books going at one time, along with my ghostwriting work.

When I really need a reset, I work on poetry (my first love) and take a walk with the goats.(less)
