Time for a change. Change is good. I'm always on the look out for new things, and came across this theme.

Warmed And Bound. Thought I forgot? Never. Buy it at Amazon, Powells, and Barnes And Noble. Do this soon, because you need to.

I talked with Livius and Robb over at Booked the other night. If you click right here you can listen to me ramble on and on and on.

Warmed and Bound Podcast Interview # 12: J David Osborne

What? You haven't read Warmed And Bound yet?

Are you waiting on permission from me?

Okay. Read it.

Buy it at Amazon, Powells, and Barnes & Noble.

I'm very behind in my reading. It's not desire, it's probably lack of time. Now that's out of the way, I have no problem introducing J. David Osborne. I have not read his novel, By The Time We Leave Here, We'll Be Friends, but I did sneak a read of his story, "Three Theories On The Murder of John Wily" in Warmed And Bound and, WOW, this guy is the deal. You guys and gals definitely need to check him, his writing  will not dissappoint. Livius and Robb at Booked snagged an interview with Mr. Osborne, and you can listen to it right here.

Warmed and Bound Podcast Interview # 11: Nik Korpon

Warmed And Bound. One of my stories is in this book. There are thirty-seven better stories in it. If you like my stories, think how much more you'll like the other stories. You can buy it at Amazon, Powells, and Barnes and Noble.

Nik Korpon writes out of Baltimore. Being that's also one the many cities frequented by Edgar Allen Poe during his lifetime, Nik must be following in the old-fellows footsteps, because his fiction is strange and dark, yet vivid and full of excitement. I met Nik online through WriteClub, and other velvety places, and I never fail to check out anything he has published. Author of the novel Stay G od , (the spelling is intentional) and the novella Old Ghosts, you'd be giving yourself a treat by picking up either, or both, of those. Robb and Livius at Booked have been waiting to talk with Nik Korpon for a while now. Grab a glass of iced tea and drop into a hammock while you listen to Nik's podcast right here.

Warmed and Bound Podcast Interview # 10: Axel Taiari

Available now at Amazon, Powells, and Barnes And Noble, Warmed And Bound. With the literary line-up of the century, this is the book to buy.

French writer Axel Taiari is one of my favorite writers. Born and raised in France, he quickly grew tired of reading and writing in French and taught himself English. I reviewed his novella A Light To Starve By here back in March and I've reread it a few times since. You'd be doing yourself a tremendous favor by finding everything you can of his and reading it. His story, "Death Juggler" is the opening act for Warmed And Bound, which is like having Pink Floyd open for Led Zeppelin, or vice versa. In other words, you just cannot go wrong with this opening act.

When I did my interview with Booked last night, I must confess I drew a blank after Livius and Robb asked me if there was a Dark/Noir Fiction writer I'd like to plug, maybe someone they could have on their show. For some reason, a little nervous I guess, I said someone else after glancing at my bookshelf. I think the reason was because I already knew Axel was going to be on the podcast tonight. So please, lie down on the floor, grab a plate of tator tots, and reward your ears with his podcast, right here and now.
