Lynch author halts publication days before launch
Just days before his brand new novel Lynch was due to go to press, author Peter J Merrigan calls for a halt to publication because he says, ‘The story wasn’t complete.’
Lynch, originally scheduled for an October release, is the follow-up title to Rider, the story of a young man who witnessed his boyfriend’s murder and was then subjected to the cruel machinations of a druglord intent on killing him. The sequel is now scheduled for an early 2014 release.

“Now I lay me down to sleep,” you say -
Your voice is full of dreams.
Your socks are slipping from your feet,
And whisper on floor beams.
I tuck you in, under the quilt,
And kiss you on the head.
A sleepy smile creases your lips:

What is your next book called?
While Peter is constantly working on new ideas and novel plot lines, he very rarely indulges others in the content of those stories. The only person to know his writing schedule (besides himself!) his his editor, Sue. Novel titles are as private as the stories themselves, but he can say that his next work might involve a car crash, a vet, and a very large Newfoundland dog! Stay tuned!
