Yoga: Let’s Talk About “Enemas” Shall We?
The post Yoga: Let’s Talk About “Enemas” Shall We? appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.
This post came to me as I was going through part II of what I write here. I promise, it will all make sense in less than 4 minutes.
James tells, me is a double entendre. I just learned some French.
What is an ENEMA?
It is a bag in which you put warm purified water, or warm coffee (as I learned in Yoga-Teacher-Training in Thailand in 2009).
And then, through a tube that comes out of the bag you insert it into your anus and let the water, or the coffee with warm water go in. Not a sweet topic of conversation, I know, but it is important.… Read the rest

Yoga, Sort Of: Raccoon And Me
The post Yoga, Sort Of: Raccoon And Me appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.
Racoon once came to my bedroom. My two cats were hissing. raccoon was in the closet.
I looked along where the cats were staring, following the thread of intensity.
“God, tell me that is a hat” I said. No, actually, I pleaded.
It was not.
Now what? Cat’s are gonna kill him, they are tigers at home.
Cats to the basement. They complaint. I get it. But they can’t be around Raccoon
He’ll feel threatened. And it is not fair, cats know the lay of the land.
Raccoon has only been sneaking in for food through the whole in the basement, and today he explored beyond the basement.

Yoga: How Do I Find Direction In Life?
The post Yoga: How Do I Find Direction In Life? appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.
Someone in Quora asked me: How Do I Find Direction In Life? I said: “This is probably not what you want to hear”, then:
Direction in life comes from a combination of:
Intuition, and experience
Paying attention to what is happening in your near surroundings
Having supportive friends (not friends that bring you down)
Taking time for YOU to reflect
Writing morning pages if you feel inclined
Keeping physically healthy
Noticing all the things you already have (Gratitude!)
And writing ten ideas a day… Or doing some practice to keep your MENTAL muscle, SHARP
I just watched “Straight Out Of Compton” GREAT MOVIE!… Read the rest

3 Things I love About “The Rich Employee” by James
The post 3 Things I love About “The Rich Employee” by James appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.
FIRST thing I love about the book is the “dedication” page because it can read as fiction or non-fiction…
It could be the beginning of a science fiction novel (“In a world…”), OR, it could be the beginning of what the book is all about: A helpful tool on how to get the mind-set to be both an employee and make money at it.
TRUTH:
“We all need money, thank you very much, and not all of us are cut out to be entrepreneurs.”
I am stepping my own toes into the “entrepreneurship world”.
And let me tell you, being all grown-up, you know?… Read the rest

Yoga: Clear Your Mind With Kapalabhati (Video)
The post Yoga: Clear Your Mind With Kapalabhati (Video) appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.
She called me a “roach”. It was after a pretty heated argument. Intellectually I knew she was jealous, I knew she was just upset because I had gotten the promotion and she didn’t. Still I was fuming. Angry. Wanting revenge.
A roach? Did Kafka himself make his way into my life in an unprecedented move. Was I dreaming?
Because seriously, who calls someone THAT? Aren’t we a bit more sophisticated already?
But I am silly sometimes, and after I heard the rather strange insult, oh boy!
I was swimming in a pool of anger, hatred and black, muddy waters, filled with excrement.

The Ten Most Influential Books In My Writing
The post The Ten Most Influential Books In My Writing appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.
Thomas emailed and said: Maybe you could write a post listing the books that have expanded your creative mind as a writer. Thank you. What a GREAT idea.
These are the books that set my heart on fire for writing.
1) “ The Invitation ” By Oriah Mountain Dreamer
I love her deep honesty. Her vulnerability. How she talks about where and how she hurts, and how she deals with it. I owe her my deep desire to write truth, just like her… with total honesty, even if it is embarrassing.
I learned how to BLEED, and what that meant, when I read Oriah
She goes deep into her personal life, what she is feeling, where she fails, where she triumphs, where she hurts, and on and on.… Read the rest

What is Compassion if You Can’t Help? Paul Dallaghan
The post What is Compassion if You Can’t Help? Paul Dallaghan appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.
Paul Dallaghan has a yoga retreat that I can only describe as the Richard Branson’s Isand for yoga…
Any yoga “real thing” you’d like is there, at his place in Ko Samui, Thailand (I’ve been to the place twice). For example: ayurvedic treatments, infrared saunas, pool, steaming showers, excellent food, exceptional yoga and pranayama instruction and amazingly beautiful accommodations by the ocean… [ If you can’t see the window with the play button click here to start listening ]
And he is one of the most humble people I know. Maybe that is why everything good comes his way… Although life is not always easy…
I found out in a rather “brutal way” for podcast standards so to speak, that he is no longer with his wife… I went unconscious and said:
“I’m sorry”
To which he laughed and said: “Nothing to be sorry about, but yeah, go ahead”
Just like comedian and philosopher Louis CK says: divorce is a good thing…
When two people’s journeys come to an end, then so be it…

Should I Die: Manual for James Altucher’s New Wife
The post Should I Die: Manual for James Altucher’s New Wife appeared first on Claudia Yoga - Ideas From a Yogi Entrepreneur.

Image from hyperbole and a half
My stepdaughter wanted to know when I was going to die. She then asked: “How does it feel to be closer to death?”
Which made me think… If I die, someone new will need an instruction book for how to handle James.
So I came up with ten ideas, of course!
Listen closely
1) – Always Tie his Shoe Laces Before Leaving the House
He will complain. He will try to persuade you that he hasn’t tied them since he was six so he doesn’t need to. It’s his mutant power to walk around with untied shoelaces.… Read the rest
