BOOX Poke5 review: Readwise Reader on e-ink!
The BOOX Poke5 is a 6″ e-ink e-reader that runs Android, and so can run apps from the Google Play store. I am extremely excited about this and other e-ink Android devices from ONYX because I have long hoped for a way to read on an e-ink screen EPUBs that aren’t from Amazon, and sync my highlights to Readwise.

January’s revenue was $6,561, down from December’s $6,631. Profits were $2,815, down from December’s $4,424.
Revenue wasn’t so bad, but expenses were higher than usual. However, profits aren’t a direct reflection of performance this month. I paid for a BookBub Featured Deal that took place in February, and I spent a lot on Meta Ads as I search for my footing with my direct-sales efforts.

October’s revenue was $4,874, down from September’s $8,182. Profits were $3,935, down from September’s $7,127.
Profits were on the lower side this month. Not alarmingly low. Last time profits were lower was three months prior in July, when profits were $2,515.

September 2023 Income Report
September’s revenue was $8,182, up from August’s $7,216. Profits were $7,127, up from August’s $6,165.
This is the highest-profit month since January, when I made $7,899. As a result, there’s a bit of a rebound in the 6 month moving average profit in the graph above.
This also puts my “salary” for the past twelve months back about $60k. $62,132, to be exact, which also puts my monthly profits above the $5k mark.
