Existence Trilogy & Novella in Paperback

You asked for it and now you’ve got it! Now available in my online store, signed paperback copies of Existence, Predestined, Leif, and Ceaseless. Each book has been re-released with a new cover and tweaks tot he story to strengthen areas that I believe could benefit from the writing experience I have now as opposed to when the books were originally written. It’s the same story you love, just refreshed.

We’ve also developed a t-shirt to go with the character you could die for. Dank (aka – Death) and his glowing blue eyes are featured on our new shirt with his tag line for the series. Release Day Excerpt

            Everyone has that defining moment in their life. That one choice you have to make. I had my moment, and it has haunted me ever since. In those defining moments, you either pave a road to happiness or you regret every step from then on. For me, I don’t know which road would have been the best because between my two choices, neither of them included her.
            I had been young and so fucking scared. Scared of being forced by my parents to be someone I didn’t want to be. Scared of making the wrong choice. Scared of leaving her. But mostly I’d been scared of losing her.
            She was my regret. Leaving her changed me. The moment I climbed on my bike and drove out of Rosemary Beach, Florida, I left true joy behind. I’d only had that summer with her, three months that altered me forever. But what I would never be able to forgive myself for was that they had changed her just as much. She was beyond broken now. I couldn’t reach her.
            Seeing her in pain broke my soul. Losing my cousin, Jace, had caused a deep pain in both of us, one I never wanted to relive. He would forever be in my heart. I’d never forget his laugh and the easy way he loved and lived his life. He didn’t live in the world of fear I inhabited. He chose his path and he walked it. He was the better man. And I had been able to stand back and let him have her. She deserved the better man.
            Now he was gone and both of our worlds were thrown off balance. Because I couldn’t stand back anymore. No one was protecting her. No one was holding her, but and she wouldn’t fucking let me near her. She wasn’t going to let me fix the past. I’d severed any hope of that when I’d driven away and left her with no other choice but to be with Jace.
            If only I could embrace the emptiness and accept it. But I couldn’t. Not when I saw her lost, beautiful face. She needed me as much as I needed her. Our story wasn’t over. It would never be over. If I had to stay here and watch over her, even though she wouldn’t let me get near her, I would. For the rest of my motherfucking life. I’d stay right here. Making sure my Bethy was okay.

Happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday Deals!

Thanksgiving has always been one of my very favorite holidays. It’s the time of year I get to spend with family I don’t see often- It’s when my daddy and brother play their guitar and sing Christmas songs we love- It’s when I remember Thanksgivings from my childhood with grandparents and family members that have passed on- It’s a special time to think of all the blessings of the past year. Those are just a few of the reasons I love Thanksgiving.

I’ve wanted to write books most of my life. The idea that I could make a living writing was something that I dreamed about but truly never imagined would happen. I’m a realist and with that I don’t allow myself to hope for things I believe are unattainable. The past three and a half years my dreams became my reality. I get to write the stories in my head and share them with others… the most amazing thing is that READERS ENJOY THEM! That will forever blow my mind. One of the things I’ll always be thankful for and never forget is my readers. They’ve given me my dream. They’re the reason why I get to write books. I can’t imagine my past lives could have been as amazing as this one.  

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you take time this holiday season to enjoy your family and friends. I also wish you a day that will become a warm memory in years to come.

You Were Mine Excerpt – Tripp POV

A knock on my door brought me out of my thoughts. I walked back through the balcony’s French doors, wondering who it was. No one came over this late. The hope that it was Bethy was brief and fleeting. When I opened the front door and saw Woods standing there, I knew Della hadn’t been able to keep what I’d said a secret. I knew deep down when I admitted it to her that she’d tell one person. The one person she told everything to. I accepted that. I stepped back and waved him inside.






     Woods didn’t speak as he stepped into the condo and walked into the living area.
     “She told you what I said.” I decided to get to the point of this visit.
     “She’s asleep and has no idea I’m here. But yes, she told me because she’s worried about you. And worried about Bethy. I’m here because I’m confused as hell. I’ve tried every fucking scenario in my head I could think of, and nothing makes sense. Eighteen? You left town when you were eighteen. Bethy would have been, what, sixteen?”
     I walked over to the open doors and stared outside, unable to look at him. Admitting this to Della was one thing, but telling Woods, Jace’s best friend, was another. I already had Bethy’s hatred to deal with. I didn’t want Woods’, too. Even if I deserved it. “The summer before I left,” I reminded him. “You were around. And you know how I was missing a lot. No one knew where I was or who I was with.”
    Woods blew out a breath and muttered a curse. “That was Bethy?”
     He remembered. I’d been so caught up in her, and I’d gotten into the habit of giving excuses whenever they wanted to hang out. “Yeah,” I said simply.
     “Holy fuck. I can’t believe that was Bethy.”
     “I was coming back for her when I could. But she was too young, and I’d have ended up in jail if we’d been caught. She was my secret. I almost didn’t leave because of her. But then my dad found out and made it very clear that my time in Rosemary Beach was over. I’d spend the school year at Yale and my summers in Manhattan at the firm. If I stayed, I’d lose her. If I ran, then I had a chance of coming back for her.”







     Woods didn’t respond at first.

     This was a secret I’d carried for a long time. It was one that had changed everything for me. I understood that. I was ready to accept it. If everyone hated me, then I’d deal with that, too. All that mattered now was that I watched over Bethy. She was all I had left.

     “Jace was going to ask her to marry him,” Woods said finally.

     “I know. He was the better man. He was going to give her the life she deserved, and I wanted that for her. I wanted her happy. I wanted her to have a life she was meant for. She loved him. That’s what mattered. I was her past. A past she hates now.”

     Woods walked over to stand beside me. “He never knew?”
     I shook my head. “No. There was no reason to tell him. Bethy was his. I’d lost her long ago.”
     “But you love her.”

“More than my next breath,” I replied.

“Shit,” Woods muttered.

While It Lasts – the movie

 

Things have already started rolling with the While It Lasts Movie details. It’s very exciting to think of seeing Cage York on the big screen but I think my favorite scene to see will be Eva in the cemetery talking to Josh.
