I'm about to embark on a one month writing retreat at Hawthornden Castle in Scotland. The castle (did I mention it was in a castle?) has no internet or cell phone service, so this will either be the most productive month of my life or I will be stark raving mad by the end. I hope to put the finishing touches on the last Fairwick book, THE ANGEL STONE, and plot a Scottish episode for my new young adult series, BLYTHEWOOD. I'll be hiking into the neighboring town of Bonnyrigg to use the wifi at the Laird and Dog (did I mention it was in Scotland?) to skype with family and friends, check emails, and post pictures. But if I seem out of touch it's because I'm away. In a castle. In Scotland.
